Pofq Coffee Question

I know there are 4-cup coffee pots in the rooms at POFQ, but some on this board have said that the coffee is not replenished each day, so would I be better off taking some of my own in zip lock bags, or can you get it at the front desk if you ask. And (hope this isn't a stupid question) are coffee cups or mugs supplied, as well as sugar and creamer?
Oh, just thought of another question, are soap and shampoo supplied?

If housekeeping sees that you are using the coffee, it should be replenished. Everything hould be there for you to drink the coffee, including cups. Usually the coffee is pre-packaged in a little round filter thingy, and there's a package with sugar, creamer, etc.

I always bring my own in ziplock bags of coffee and sugar/creamer anyway just because I prefer gourmet coffee.

Yes, you'll get shampoo and soap in cute Mickey Mouse packaging!

Soap, shampoo, coffee and creamer are supplied every day. Honestly, I don't like any of the stuff they supply! The soap is Ivory (which is just OK in my book), the shampoo is terrible as is the coffee which is in the little pre-packed pouches. The "creamer" is powdered coffee whitener. I usually use the soap, but I bring my own shampoo, coffee, filters and real half and half. If you're not fussy (like me ) then you'll do fine with what Disney offers. If you're really not fussy about coffee, you can buy a mug and fill it up at the food court. They serve Nescafe there {{shudder}}.

I'm drinking a nice darker roast Kona blend right now out of my POFQ refillable mug.

Thanks for the welcome. I am a newbie to DIS, and WDW. Going for the first time next week. (50th birthday present!) Have been studying these boards a lot lately....WDS seems so overwhelming. So the refillable mug worked out four you. I'm pretty sure we will get them too.

Thanks, can't wait. I'll probably bring some of my own coffee, too. Just as a back up. At this time next Tuesday (10/18) I'll be on the plane!!!!

Oh yes, the mug worked fine. Nescafe isn't the greatest coffee, but we would drink it with breakfast in the food court. We would bring a mug with us to the parks and put them in a zip lock bag when we were done.

I know we'll be bringing our own coffee -- those round filters never provide a strong enough brew for our liking, which is potent enough to melt a spoon!!!

So with that in mind, what filters do we need to bring along, cone or basket? And what size?

Basket. Any size will work, but I think the smaller ones work better.
