Hi, Our family has stayed at POP for our last few visits and loved it because of the size and mostly because of the one bus stop. We are looking to try something different and thinking about POFQ, but the one thing holding us back is that I read that they sometimes share buses with Riverside, which would mean multiple stops and would make bus rides longer. Can anyone give me feedback on how the buses were during your trip?

Yes, POFQ shares with Riverside but the whole 10 days were were there (in October) we never had a full bus. I hate crowded buses so I checked it out before we went too...don't let that deter you from going to the resort

When we have stayed at POR the bus would share with POFQ occasionally, most often in the afternoons. It picks up and drops off at POFQ first when it does share. :)

I stayed at POFQ in early November last year and we never shared buses with POR the whole time we were there.

We've done 3 different week-long trips at POFQ and can probably count on one hand the number of times we shared buses! It's usually only at off-times--mid-afternoon, early evening, etc. And on the rare occasion that you do, POFQ is the first picked up and dropped off so it's still convenient.

We also stated at POFQ and did not share busses with POR. We left early in the morning and returned after fireworks. It was a beautiful resort!

They rarely share buses first thing in the morning or late in the evening...only in the middle of the day, and even then only to parks other than MK.

That has been our experience our last several trips. Only shared MK in early AM ( 6:45) to go to a character breakfast and a bus that picked up overflow at POFQ ( 1st bus filled up about 20+ left). It made 1 stop at POR and headed to MK.Last year none of our DHS buses shared even those coming back to POFQ after lunch. Epcot was only mid-day sometimes.

We travelled mid afternoon to MK, HS and Epcot in January and we still did not even share with POR.

The POFQ buses were never crowded, we took them back and walked over to POR where we were staying because the POR buses were a zoo.

POR and POFQ does not always share a bus---only during non-peak times. When we travelled in August two years ago we stayed at POR and only shared a bus with POFQ maybe three times. And when we did share a bus with them, they were the last stop on the way to the parks and the first stop on the way back to drop off.

I was at POFQ last January/February. We went back and forth to the parks at all times of the day. The only bus we were on the shared was the one to Disney Springs. It stopped at every bus stop at POR so I suggest always use the boat to DS, even if the place you want to go is closer to the bus stop at DS. Just take the boat at DS to the other side of the DS.

I have stayed at POR and POFQ many times and never shared buses. We are there during the summer or Christmas break, but even when we go back for our early afternoon break, we have never shared.

We did not share with any other resorts in May. However, we did have some pretty long waits for a bus to come around to take us to MK. We saw like 5 Epcots come and go before we got one. Hopefully this is not the norm.

there is very little if any sharing going on. they even have an internal bus now that goes to all 5 Port Orleans stops because you used to be able to go from FQ to Riverside by jumping on ANY bus at FQ which some do for eating purpose's, for a different movie night or to ride the horse and buggy. now....the fact that there is for all intents and purposes only one stop at FQ it does tend to be a bit busy mid morning 10-11. what happens is if whatever is going to be the busy park that day, for whatever reason, is in the far depot the line can fall back into the near depot and if three or four busses come it can get confusing. one day this May we looked and just waved over a cab or we might still be standing there.
