How would you rate the bus transportation from POFQ? Love the convenience of a deluxe but would like to save money and try POFQ if transportation is good. Thanks for the help:cheer2:

We stayed at POFQ in April this year and we thought the bus transportation was fine. We didn't have any major problems. I have heard others complain but we thought it was good. The only time I can think of that we had to wait a while was on an Epcot bus. There seemed to tons for the MK though. We even had one of the drivers drop us off directly at the Contemporary Resort and we were the only ones on the bus! We didn't always share with POR either.:)

We always go in January and have never had any problems with the buses. We love the resort!:thumbsup2

Bus picks up and drops off before POR; we never experienced a problem. Beautiful resort, BTW. POFQ is nice because it is smaller and rooms are close to all points of the resort. The river is beautiful and the boat to DTD is nice!
We have stayed WL, CSR, POR, POFQ and enjoyed them all for their uniqueness. I am staying at POP this spring (first time at a value) since it is just me and my 2 5 year olds.

We stayed at POFQ in september and found the buses to be awful. We decided to try this resort again, and had to settle for POR. We just returned Dec. 23rd and found the buses to be great this time. So it's a toss.

Our stay at POFQ was our only stay in a mod and we were pleasantly surprised with the resort layout and the transportation.

We just got back, the buses were fine. Just a few times it could have been better.

Stayed there in Oct. The bus ride can be long if it makes all the stops at POR before heading out to the park. If the bus fills up at POFQ or the first stop at POR it will not make any other stops - traffic control will route the next bus to missed stops first. So you may actually get to the park quicker if there are more people waiting at POFQ. As far as the frequency of the buses go we didn't have any extra long waits. I have heard others say the long waits were at the parks waiting for a bus to return to the resort but we did not have any of these either. I think we would all like transportation to be better but we don't find it a deal breaker on where to stay.

We've stayed at POFQ during the busiest seasons (Easter, Christmas, etc.) and found the buses to be great. Sure, at the end of a long day at MK the lines can be somewhat long, but that holds true for any of the resorts including those on the monorail loop. The best part about POFQ is that the buses pick you up first before going to POR (if they go there at all; sometimes they don't during the busy seasons) so you always get a seat.

Average - it shares with POR and the queues leaving the park can be long at times. I had issues with wait times, strollers and my little ones.

We've stayed at POFQ twice, both times around Christmas. We had no problem with the buses from the resort. On the way back to the parks it can be a different story though. POFQ now has its own stop at MK, but shares for Epcot and AK (don't know about MGM).
If you wait about an hour after Illuminations ends to leave the park & go to the bus stop, it's not so bad. If you go out right after, it can be nuts.

I have to agree with average. We usually stay Deluxe, but have stayed at POFQ and we loved it.
We did not find the transportation to be a problem at all. If you share with POR you are the first stop picked up (ie. a seat :lmao: ) and the first stop dropped off at the end of a long day. The walk FROM the bus to your room is never long at POFQ.
I say average because I think there can be long lines or waits for buses for any resort. At park closing it is always a wait, although the number of buses rolling through is truly amazing. Moving the number of people trying to go somewhere at the same time is always going to take time.
We stayed at the BWV in October. Buses there, depending on the time of day, can share with Boardwalk, Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club and Beach Club. I have been on one with this route at night. That is a lot of sharing and always results in grumbling among guests.
I would say Try POFQ and enjoy. I think it is a beautiful resort and the transportation is like anywhere on Disney property.

Especially when it's shared transportation.
