POFQ - building 6, 5 or 2

Would you do a 1st floor room for easy access out of the room ?
Cons- window watching by passers, noise from above ?

Would you do a 3rd floor room ?
Cons - more effort - walking/elevator to get to the room ?

We want to have a coutyard view, not a pool view. We'd pay for a river view. Close to the pool, laundry, bus stop and food court would be nice.

What would you select 1st floor or 3rd floor ?
Any building views/location better ?

We had a room in Bldg. 1 once that was great. Since Bldg. 1 is on the outside of the resort it was really quiet. Our room faced the parking lot but on the other side of the building was the river and benches nearby. It wasn't a long walk to get to the hospitality section and pool and the grounds are so beautifully landscaped that the walk was a very nice one.

As far as picking a ground floor over a higher floor since we have little kids we like the bottom floor so I don't have to worry about the kids' feet bothering our downstair neighbors. If it were just me & DH I'd probably pick a higher floor hoping/thinking that people with smaller kids would be on the lower floors. :)

I always stay on the 3rd floor there. I've had a river view, it wasn't worth it to me. Last time we stayed in building 3, courtyard view. That was a great location. Building 4 is the closest to the bus stop and food court. But this is a small resort and everything is very close, less than 5 min walk.

We were on the first floor for our Dec trip and I really liked it. With small children, it was so much easier not to have to worry about stairs and railings and we could just roll the stroller in the room. As for people looking in the windows, we always had the blinds closed. The only times we were in the room, we were sleeping, or getting ready. Honestly, I didn't really notice that much traffic by our room though anyway. Have a great trip!:goodvibes

3rd floor. We stayed in building 6 overlooking the river. At night it was very nice to hear and see the horse carriages and the boats on the river. The elevator made if very easy with the baby stroller.

We stayed in Building #5, first floor with a courtyard view. We were half way back (room 5139) in the building. We were 2 mins. to the food court, 3 mins. to the bus stop, and 2 mins. to the boat dock. We heard no noise from above us and very few people walked past our room. The view of the courtyard was great. We really liked our location. The walk to the Riverside foodcourt was beautiful and relaxing taking us 8 mins.

I could see Wishes from my third floor building 2 room. However, I have no clue what else the view was-courtyard, maybe?

Wow - so many building choices. OK down to 3rd floor - courtyard, building 3 or 5 or 4 ... if we can do waterview thne building 6 :goodvibes

The riverview rooms are the furthest from the bus and food court, but close to the pool and the boats to DTD.

Anywhere you are is close to everything, it's a very small resort. We had a first floor room which we loved, and never heard a thing above us.

You really can't go wrong at FQ!
