Just got back from Joanne all Christmas stuff is out and they were playing holiday music, got me in the mood. I was just thinking last night that the first MVMCP is next week! Wow, trip is getting close. :santa:

Our local stores already have Christmas stuff out...I am so NOT ready this year...haven't heard any Christmas music yet, but I'm sure I will soon. I'm looking so forward to seeing the MK decorated...after just seeing it for Halloween..Christmas will be awesome!!!

MVMCP tickets - What are your thoughts? "Will call" or "e-ticket"?

Either way, you have to go to Guest Relations and get them...I got mine through Dreams, an E-ticket and when I was there last week, I went to Guest Relations in DTD and got the hard tickets.

e-ticket is when you print the actual ticket from your home computer. You don't have to go to Guest Relations to get it. You hand the paper to the CM at the turnstile, they scan it and put a MVMCP bracelet on you. Very easy, we've done it several times.

This is what I thought it would be.
The advantage - go straight to the gate.
Disadvantage - I must not lose the e-ticket piece of paper between now and December 4 when I leave. And then not lose it in my luggage at my first resort and on the cruise.
Advantage - if I did lose it, I suppose once at WDW, someone at the resort hotel could let me bring up my e-mail to re-print the e-ticket?

How many folks north of the Mason Dixon Line are planning early morning flights? What are your thoughts on getting a hotel near the airport (that will allow for free parking over the vacation) as opposed to recruiting a family chauffeur?

I have done this when I fly out of Indy. The only downside is the wait upon return to the airport at the end of the trip which can take up to an hour for the hotel shuttle to pick you up.

Ack! An hour? That is worse than Magical Express!

You can print it more than once, in case you lost it the first time you printed it. Until it is actually scanned, you can print it as many times as you want. I'm sure the resort or Guest Services at the MK will re-print it for you.

I will print it several times and hide it in different places. yeah. That should work!

If I am already in MK on a regular ticket during the day, I have to go back to the main gate to re-enter with part ticket?

My brother did all kinds of research on names when they figured out what they were having. They wanted something unusual along with one syllable . So they found Baila. Means graceful dancer. After seeing her, it definitely suits her.

That's cool, what a lovely meaning :goodvibes

Welcome Baila Marie! Auntie...don't teach her Mickey until after she says mommy and daddy...:rotfl:

:rotfl: Yeah you couldn't pass it off as Mommy or Daddy!

I'm still torn about putting up a tree this year, I'll see if I have time this weekend and then we will have it for month or so before we go :santa:

Not sure if we're north or not but we're staying at the Yotel overnight, we've not tried it before but it looks cool! We've also booked a meet and greet for the parking. Someone on the UK boards posted about a 50% off discount. The Yotel and parking works out to about the same as staying at a hotel in the airport (like the Hilton) but the Yotel is in the airport too! There have been recent reports about dodgy meet and greet services including one guy who found out his car had been rented out to an Australian while he was on holiday :scared1:

We sometimes do that. We have a place reserved for December but are still undecided as to if we will actually do that. Fortunately, we can cancel up till 6:00 pm that day.

Our flight is around 2:30 because DS has 1 class that morning. I also thought that since it is December an afternoon flight would give them a chance to clear roads and runways incase the weather is bad.

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday Cruising Friends!!!!!

I hope that all of my American friends were able to get to/ will be able to go to the polls today and let their voice be heard.

Just think. In six weeks we will be waking up at Castaway Cay!!!!!
