Good Monday morning all - hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a crazy weekend. Spent most of Friday night / Saturday at the hospital awaiting the birth of my niece but she finally made her grand entrance at 8:52 pm Saturday - Baila Marie. She is a cutie. Got to hold her yesterday. :yay:

Going to buy her - her 1st set of Mickey ears on this Dec's trip. Gotta get her going down the "right" path. Can't wait to start taking her to the Mouse House in a few years.

Hope everyone has a great week.

P.S - Remember to go vote tomorrow....

Good Morning Everyone !!!! Hope you all had a nice Halloween...we had about 30 kids come by..they were so cute.

Finished unpacking from last weeks trip, now I can concentrate on packing for December. I've put all the stuff that I've gathered into a suitcase. Told DD to get up in the attic this week and pull the other suitcases down, so we can figure out if we need another set. I'm going to stage the suitcases at her new house since she has more room....they are still in transition and stuff is everywhere at my house.

I guess while I'm out on surgery leave, I can go over the lists that I've made and make adjustments...and maybe finally get to work on the FE....

Have a wonderful day all.

We had no trick or treaters! But I think the kids where we live are a bit old for that now. Good luck with the packing and sending out good thoughts for your surgery :goodvibes

Happy Monday everyone!!!! Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween. We took the kiddies T or T with some friends and OMG Rheya had BLAST! After every house she said Momma I trick or treat :goodvibes It was the cutest thing. It's always cute their first time out but with her things are like even cutier because I always think about how she almost didn't make it. So then of course I start to cry. I'm pitiful I know. :rotfl:

Anywho....40 more days..yay yay yay!

My brother did all kinds of research on names when they figured out what they were having. They wanted something unusual along with one syllable . So they found Baila. Means graceful dancer. After seeing her, it definitely suits her.

Welcome Baila Marie! Auntie...don't teach her Mickey until after she says mommy and daddy...:rotfl:

Just got back from Joanne all Christmas stuff is out and they were playing holiday music, got me in the mood. I was just thinking last night that the first MVMCP is next week! Wow, trip is getting close. :santa:

I refuse to start packing until Thanksgiving !

I have to start packing before Thanksgiving. My sister is coming for a visit Thanksgiving weekend. I bring her back to the airport Monday. I have four work days, then I bring myself to the airport!

I am not really going to pack all my clothes, but I need to start pulling together all the "things" I need.
I will use the really good packing list I used two years ago.
Challenge is this trip is two weeks, previous one was one week. I suppose I do not need "more", just plan to do laundry.

How many folks north of the Mason Dixon Line are planning early morning flights? What are your thoughts on getting a hotel near the airport (that will allow for free parking over the vacation) as opposed to recruiting a family chauffeur?

I consider it at times. The hotels around our airport have sort of caught on to this idea and started charging if you leave your car in their lot after check out. Some don't, but I believe most do. We live about 40 minutes from our airport and if our flight leaves before 8:00AM I often consider staying by the airport.

We are flying at night, arriving late, hence the reason we are staying at the Orlando Hyatt overnight. Our airport is only 10-15 minutes away, so I/we either take the car and leave it at the airport, or have someone take us there.

I am one hour fifteen minutes from the airport. People do not really want to make two of those round trips to to chauffeur me to the airport.

Airport parking is $12 - $15 per day. I will be gone 15 nights.

I found a hotel about five miles from the airport that will let me stay for one overnight and keep the car for two weeks for $80. My flight does not leave until afternoon and it lands back home at 3:00. I might not use the overnight stay. But I will pay for parking lot. The inconvenience it not parking right close to the airport and having to wait for their shuttle bus when I land. But it can't be much worse than waiting for Disney's Magical Express!
