It took us 2 1/2 days to drive down, that was with stopping to sleep, visiting dis friends, & doing a little sightseeing.
We left Saturday morning at 10:30am and arrived monday at 1 pm.
We had fun on the drive down, I would do it again.
I say that b/c John wouldn't let me drive, so I dozed quite a bit! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I was bored!!!!

We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. I got to see 3 of my sisters that I haven't seen in a very long time! Ate at Big Boy:sick: will never do that again! At least we didn't pay for it, but I got my Viatale's Pizza! YUM! Hope everyone is having a good work week! It is almost hump day!!!!:yay::dance3:

I am glad you got to spend time with your family!
Sorry you got sick, that awful.

Good morning everyone! :)
Hope all is well with everyone on this fine Tuesday morning.
I am typing this post from my balcony at Old Key West this morning. :thumbsup2
I am letting the others have a little sleep in this morning.
We arrived yesterday and we drove form Canada!
This was the first time we drove, but I don't think it will be the last.
We had a great time on the way down stopping to meet new dis friends, and doing some sightseeing. :cool1:
Today we are moving into our BLT room, I can't wait!:yay::yay:
Then I think we will head over to MK for a bit.
We are here for 2 weeks and check out of BLT on the 15th.
I am trying to convince DH to tack on an extra week at the riverside.
You can't blame a girl for trying!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
We are not ready for christmas quite yet, but soon!

Wow you did well to drive all that way - makes for a longer vacation ;)

I saw John's pic of your view :cloud9: really hoping we can get a studio for next December :cool1:

So did the Big Boy (is this a restaurant or a food item?) make you sick or was it just horrible?

Happy Hump Day folks! :wave2:

:scared: :scared1: :faint:

How cute! I never even heard of this! I am going to have to try this next month :).

I was anguishing in my Pats routing by the Saints, getting what I thought were consolation snuggles, when he jumped me with this :sad2: I'd say it's usually me who gets him first :rolleyes1

Glad you had a good time visiting with family...those holidays are the best! :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:

Hello Everyone! It's been awhile since I last spoke but I've been trying to keep up with everyone. Glad Thanksgiving is over (cooked for about 20 ppl at my house ) and ready for Christmas. Christmas is my FAVORITE holiday. I just love the lights and all the decorations. :) DD (2) has been sick for about a week now so I'm hoping that goes away soon. Good thing is it's just a cold (she was a preemie so her getting sick is scary). Hope everyones Christmas shopping is going well. We've been done for about a month now but DH still went out on Black Friday. Got a few goodies..saving some for birthdays that are right after Christmas. :)

Well just wanted to pop in and say HI! :wave2:

It was horrible, and I thought Denny's was bad! It is a restaurant, but luckily they are not in Florida!

Wow 20 people - we couldn't even fit that many in our house :lmao:
I agree Christmas really brightens up a cold dull winter :goodvibes

I hope you daughter gets better soon

Yeah I've experienced Denny's and if Big Boy is worse I will definitely avoid it :thumbsup2
We have places here like that, the food is cheap but there is a reason why - low quality produce and I even had a re-heated microwave dinner (when it came out it was plonked on the plate and was in the shape of the tray it had been kept in - definately not made fresh and not even made to look appealing :scared:) I'd rather spend a little more and know I'm eating a freshly prepared meal made with happy chickens/pigs etc. ;)

Happy Thursday folks! :wave2:

Yeah, we're a strange lot :rotfl2: Good thing I get  the other 30 days of month

Big Boy is comparable to Shoney's.

Glad I've never heard of any of these places! :rotfl:

So today's my last day to gather everything together before I'm off for the holidays!!! :woohoo: :cheer2: :woohoo:

I always liked Big Boy. I think because it was a treat while traveling away from home.

Its not my favorite place. I think I've only gotten the spaghetti there. And that's because I was/am a picky eater. It is nothing special, not even worth going out of the way for, but sometimes you have a craving.

However, on the weekends, they have a breakfast buffet. I can get some grits, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pancakes, potato casserole, fruit, eggs, and BREAD PUDDING (plus some other stuff too.) That I enjoy going there for.

Oh, my! Are the cruise breakfasts like this?

There was breakfast on the cruise?:confused:

I don't remember. I am not usually a breakfast person. I know there was something. I know I ate before going to Castaway Cay. And the day of disembarkation.

Oh and Palo. But that was special!

I think the Beach Blanket Buffet does things like that, we never tried it. One day we ate at Tritons which was a la carte, we had pastries at Cove Cafe with a proper coffee :goodvibes and we had a snack from the quick service - Goofys something or other, we had the Palo brunch later. The last morning we had another breakfast at Tritons.

The only pic I have is this one french toast with pineapple from Tritons

We usually wake up just in time to run to Palo for Brunch :lmao:
Very important to close down Diversions every evening and do the wall walking thing on the way to the room

y'all are not big breakfasters?! but breakfast is such a good opportunity for yummy foods! especially whilst on holidays when there's time to sit down to a big brekky.

personally i'm really looking forward to having big breakfasts on Disney days. i need the energy! :Pinkbounc

Do you do Palo brunch every morning?

My problem is that I am not going to want to miss anything - thus I will want to be late night with the people who are awake. Then I won't want to miss a meal or morning activities, so I have to wake up early enough. I hope there is some "down time" for naps!

What is "wall walking thing"? :confused3
