Happy Monday everyone. Hanging out with my FIL today while he gets his chemo. Luckily they have free WiFi.

Hello Everyone!!! Happy Monday!!!

We are getting rain today, though it is cooling back down (yuck!) All our snow melted this weekend and any remains are being washed away today. We got up to 63 degrees yesterday. Too Bad this weather isn't going to hold.

Hi! Rain coming in this evening. Hopefully it will wash away some the snow. 70+ inches is taking too long to melt.

Hi everyone Happy Monday. So far it's been a normal Monday **yawn**

Evening is looking up, I just remembered it is trash talking night on the Bachelor LOL.. Nothing better than a good ole cat fight on national TV LOL

Morning all.
Monday indeed. Snow, maybe ice, maybe rain, more snow, then rain tomorrow. Yay.
Yesterday was warm enough that I managed to wash all the winter coats, snow pants etc. I really need to find coats that aren't hang to dry - it takes so long in the winter. :laundy:

today more:laundy: and housework. Hopefully some sewing for someone special later this week.

have a great day in SPITE of the weather where you are.

Logan, Ann's boy will turn 6 on the cruise!

Yep! Logan turns 6 the first day of the cruise! He tells almost everyone he knows "on my 6th birthday I am going on a Disney cruise!"

My favorite Bachelor night... the women tell all... and all... and everything!

Well....here in Vermont, we're getting ready for a couple ofbig snow storms headed our way. I know....I have lived here all of my life...but quite frankly I have been enjoying this mild winter! :rotfl: alright...I'll stop whining...only because I am headed to Disney in April and then the we just decided we are going on the Podcast Cruise 2.0! :cool1::thumbsup2:banana::yay:

I am doing just what Kevin, John, Pete, Corey, and Julie have said...I'm jumping in and saying Hi! Can't wait to make some new friends, and I can't wait to getting to know all of you!

My part of Maine is starting to lose snow. It's not very pretty any more.

Frost heaves are appearing. My street is like a roller coaster! The newly laid sidewalk at the library with its fancy pavers is also all roller coaster like.

I wouldn't mind a little more snow just ssto make things look a little nicer.

Speaking of snow, I am hoping that the first two weeks of December this year is snow free while we are flying to and from PCC 2.0.

Happy Tuesday and a very good day to you all !!!
Just doing my bit and filling in for Becx as she hasn't yet got her first post of the day in, so must be busy :)

So what part of Vermont are you from Jeanette? I ask because we have visited a few times, but only in the summer and fall, so have not witnessed it's well known snow falls!!

Hey there, great to see some more cruisers joining :wave2:
There is still plenty of time to get to know us, make sure you read some of the other threads especially if you haven't cruised before.

I hope the snow isn't too bad for you - I'm hoping we're going to be over it here too (not that we get much but it still slows things down). I've been to Vermont a few times (I worked at a summer camp near Rutland) and just love it there

Loads of roads here are cracked and have pot holes, I hope they have it in their budget to fix a few  I know what you mean about it looking ugly with half melted snow - I hate the slushy bits on the sides of roads.

Keeping my fingers crossed no-one is affected by weather for PCC 2.0 :cheer2:

Happy Tuesday everyone

Welcome Jeanette....

Happy Tuesday.
Another day without fresh snow.
Sigh... :sad2:

I got enough yesterday that I had to dig out my car before leaving work and then shovel out a spot for it once I got home. I couldn't even be lazy and just drive up on it. It was too deep. (Not that I am complaining...it wasn't like 36" deep...)

Greetings All,
Just wanted to say hello.
Don

Hi Jeanette and welcome. It's very quiet in this topic right now but should really start picking up mid year.

My part of Maine is starting to lose snow. It's not very pretty any more.

Frost heaves are appearing. My street is like a roller coaster! The newly laid sidewalk at the library with its fancy pavers is also all roller coaster like.

This is the worst frost heave year that I can remember for a long while Lyn. My street and neiborhood roads are downright nasty. All these freeze and thaw temp flucuations.

Happy 'what day is it??' folks :wave2: The days have just come and gone so quickly here...just amazing. :woohoo:

Haven't caught up on the whole thread but welcome to the newcomers  and congrats to Jaime/Meg! :cool1:

It's been crazie fun at the Olympics: the folks here are jubilent, friendly and polite - holding doors open for each other even when I'm a few steps away from the door, etc. Altho most stuff is pretty crowded, it hasn't dampened the spirit here. The sunny weather, I'm sure, has helped. The crocusses (sp?) and daffodils are already in bloom here!

So much Canadiana it is amazing. At times groups will just break out in the national anthem

Last nite was wild downtown with Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir skating an absolutely magical ice dance program to win gold. :cloud9:

Everywhere is brimming with excitement - it's hard to explain/capture. I was working quite a bit and have now finished my volunteer shifts so I'm going to check out the pavillions/venues today - a ton of stuff going on that is free. Pin collecting/trading is a big deal here too :rotfl:

Got tix for the ladies long program practice session tomorrow so am :dance3: Of course our hearts break for 6-time Canadian champion Joannie Rochette, who's mother passed away suddenly on the weekend in Vancouver. Joannie is reigning World silver medalist and is expected to challenge for the medals. She has stated she will skate but whatever the outcome, fans from all over will be incredibly proud of her, and stand and applaud her for her courage. Our sympathies are with her and her family. :sad1:

Hope all's well with the 2.0 gang! :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:
