Wow that pic is awesome :thumbsup2 Did you stitch the pictures together yourself or have you got a program that can do it? I've seen a Sony camera that will do a panoramic picture - it tells you when to start and when to stop and puts it all together! I think I may well get that camera - it does HD video too :thumbsup2

 for your DD - so sad loosing a pet, but a good life lesson :goodvibes Sounds like it got the send off it deserved.
I do hope that is your 3 things - so did you try and chop your finger off? It always happens at the worse time  Hope it gets better soon. At least you can have a bit of time off work - that kind of makes up for it :thumbsup2

I was trying to have a healthy dessert. I lost such a tiny bit, but part of the nail too. So far one week off - I am figuring it will be at least 2 - I handle fire emergency calls - spelling and speed count, and I won't risk not being able to live up to our 75s standard.

I am starting to think of this thread as checking in with you in the morning!

Happy Thursday folks! :wave2:

Got a lot to do today - it's TGIF for us :thumbsup2 Have a fab weekend all :goodvibes

We're getting a lot of snow here again...here's a pic DH took that should warm us up! :cloud9:

pano.jpg

cheers,
:flower3:

Awesome Picture!!!

great picture Karen... I can see exactly where I was when I got my evil sunburn! :cool1:

We had a fish funeral last night. DD's first pet. I wish I would have video'd it. DH ran the ceremony. He allowed us the chance to say a few words, then recited very solemnly, the words of the immortal - Dr. Suess...One Fish Two fish - at least the first page or 2. Very appropriate for a blue fish.
He ended it with a rousing rendition of "When the Fish go Swimming up" to the tune of " when the Saints go Marching Down"

I have decided that this has to be done for me. Within the last week, my bank card was comprimised, luckily the bank shut down my card prior to any theft, I lost a battle with a canteloupe and now the fish. That's 3 I should be back on track right?

We have started to get better at bandaging and with a good bandage and a whole lot of patience, the only thing I really can't do is go to work. (yay for paid sick days!)

Ha ha! That fish sounds like it had a great funeral! I could just picture it.
I hope everything will start looking on the up and up!

Wow! I am shocked to see that I made the list!:cheer2:

Gotta say, I am looking forward to the cruise and vacation days on either side of the cruise.

I hope I am not looking forward to it too much. It wouldn't be good to set expectations too high. But I am pretty sure I will be well-pleased!

Oh yes you will!! There is no such thing with too high of an expectation with this group!!!:dance3::dance3:

Whoo Hoo....we leave 43 weeks from today

I cannot wait :goodvibes

Ohhh, sounds nasty :sad2: Hope it heals soon.

Yes, I'm here quite a bit in the week

Well done, I think as long as you post everyday / every other day you'll make it :thumbsup2

I try to err on the side of caution and not expect too much, but PCC 1.0 was amazing and I didn't expect to have so much fun on a boat :lmao: With it being your first Disney Cruise too that will make you ask yourself 'Why didn't I do this sooner' ;)

::yes::

No wonder your post count is so high!
You take six posts to say one sentence that we are almost at 1400 posts! :lmao:

;)

I just wanted to get the thread moving again - honest :goodvibes

I think the majority were from the earlier pages when they posted 10 pages of nonsense over night, so I thought I'd have a go too :thumbsup2

When we were looking at flights yesterday we saw that if we fly out a day earlier - Thurs 9th Dec - we'll save £100 (about $150-155) so we've both had to check at work - DH's boss seemed to have forgotten he even asked about it last June (to make sure he could take almost 3 weeks off work) :scared1: but after forwarding him the e-mail he remembered
I'm ok here to take off the Thursday so that means we'll get there a whole day earlier and still leave when we had planned to :woohoo: :woohoo:

I'm hoping this means we can make it to MVMCP :santa:

You are doing a great job of keeping the thread alive! the keeper of the thread!

I'm glad you are too. DH and DD sat with me in the ER while we waited to see the Triage Nurse telling me to just imagine we were on the boat, and the view from her or there, and the warm sun...it really helped. I was in shock and almost passing out.

We haven't decided when to leave yet. Or if we are driving or flying. I had to book my vacation time last fall so I booked 2 weeks off. I am off Dec 7 to the 26. I know that is more than 2 weeks. I work 4 days on then 4 days off so 2 weeks vacation time works out to 20 days off. :thumbsup2

oh and Yay for me - DN14 is done his exams and off for a few more days so he came to stay with us and help out a bit.

OKay, that's cool! :goodvibes It had gotten kinda slow.

Yup - I took part in "nonsense" like that on the DAP thread and I wasn't even going.

I am looking forward to meeting people on the cruise. I am envious of you and Gav and your trips to the Netherlands. Wish I could have gone with you.

Oh that sounds really horrible  I'm glad they managed to help keep your mind off it

Wow that's a good deal, a nice long break. I'm lucky I have to take off the days between Christmas and New Years I don't get over jet lag very quickly so I need a few days to recover :sad2:

I'd love to have some Diser's pop across the pond :goodvibes hopefully we'll have a DLRP meet (if they ever make their hotels affordable  ) then we could show you all around :goodvibes

We just booked the flight, I'm so pleased :thumbsup2 I think we got a really good price and as we booked online we can get cash back :cool1:

I can't wait to start making ADR's, I just need to know what everyone else is doing as group meals.

I'm not sure about dining quite yet. After some of the issues we had around group dining and PCC 1.0, I might just stick to group dining at say, Backlot Express...

I'm sticking to group dining at counter service locations like Todd this time. :thumbsup2

Best, then, not to get the Dining Plan for the stay around PCC 2.0?

I guess that will be a bit more flexible - if people want to come and go they can :thumbsup2

I'd say if you will want to have a few table service meals then get it :thumbsup2 If not maybe the QS dining plan? We will still have a TS meal most nights even if it's not a group event.

I want to try Beirgarten so will see if anyone is up for that (I don't think Gav wants to sit and talk to strangers so it's the only way we're gonna eat there :lmao:)

Happy Monday everyone - and happy February :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:

It's only just over 10 months now and we booked about 8 months ago - so I wrekon we're almost half way there :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

You should! It's our favorite!
Only one time out of the five did we have non talkers at our table. No matter what we did to include them in the converstion, they just kept to themselves. Which was actually quite interesting to me, because as you both know..Bob is a talker!
But really, your table mates are only strangers for a short..really short time.

Happy Feb indeed!!
It's a nice feeling to have the holiday approved & booked, even if my manager was a bit of an *** about it. 20 glorious days in the US/Caribbean - canna wait!
