Happy Thursday everyone!!!

Tought teenage day at our house. Why oh why do teenage girls have to be so mean and stupid? Madi had someone tell her today to put her hair in a ponytail because her hair looks bad :( She just got a new haircut, and she has curly hair that is hard to control. We got it cut in a way that makes it look cute when it's curly, and that little brat made her feel like a dork. Why oh why can she not understand that that girl has no idea what she is talking about? I HATE this age. I should have had boys.

UGH! Tough lessons. It can be soooo hard to learn that there will always be someone with a negative opinion. I know you will find a way to get her through it. Try to get Emilie to see it now too. :grouphug:
Maybe get out a high school yearbook of yours. :rolleyes1
Once they get the laughs out over that...:goodvibes

I am so sorry this is happening to Madi! Life and other girls can be so cruel. Self image is so incredibly important. If she is having any doubts, I hope you can find the ways to tell her that no matter what image she thinks sees in the mirror, that she strong and beautiful. And that goes double if anyone else tries to knock her down!

And, Nicole, I am sure you don't really mean that you wish you had boys. I am sure boys would present their own set of challenges.

Girl power! :thumbsup2

I am really having a hard time deciding what to do during the SaturDAY before we cruise. Since we are driving we can do pretty much anything we want.

We have been to the world the last 3 Decembers so we have seen all the parks decorated already, so I am thinking possibly we have a nice breakfast ADR then head over to see ICE at the Gaylord Palm (I have wanted to do this for the past 2-3 trips and haven't) and then resort hop to the resorts we have never seen and then head over to the Madi meet up at the Boardwalk or we could go to Sea World or Busch Gardens as we haven't been there the past two trips or we could just go to the parks. We will be in the parks post cruise for a few days so I am trying to maximize my time. Decisions, Decisions...

What's everyone else's plans?

Morning everyone. Work day for me, but so far it has been quiet. Yesterday was steady but not insane. Hopefully today will be the same.

I am starting the hard core planning for our Baltic Cruise. It is much more complicated than our typical DCL cruise.

Morning Folks! I have the WDW/DCL itch this morning.

Haven't really decided yet. What are the expected MK hours that day? We are waiting for May to waitlist for BLT, so we may do MK that day. We have our GAD/GADD tickets so it's free admission unless we apply them towards a new multi day ticket. If we decided not to do a park, it's DTD for us.

Val & I will be flying down on Saturday before the cruise. What we wind up doing will depend on what time we arrive. I'm thinking of an early morning flight which would get us to MCO at ~10:30 and at our WDW resort about noon. I'm thinking that we'll stay at either BCV or BWV that night (memo to self, mark calendar for 7 months ahead to wait-list) in which case we'll probably just wander around Epcot that day. I suspect we'll do a nice dinner (YSH comes to mind) that night. That's pretty much what we did for PCC 1.0.

Just realized that all the holiday decorations will be up then. So, we may wind up doing a hotel tour to check out the decorations. Perhaps a monorail tour to hit the GF, Poly and Contemporary along with a slight detour to WL.

So many decisions....

The thread is getting kinda weird when the powder starts to fly!

Love the photos, thanks for posting.

Winter is back in Maine, bundle up.

Visited two sap houses today, Maine Maple Sunday. Loved the smooth, creamy maple butter. Really loved the hot syrup poured on snow to make maple taffy. Yum!

Came home with three gallons of syrup. Hope that is enough to get us through the year. Plus one pint of dark amber for cooking.

I think you can get a cream for that ;)

Good morning everyone  We changed the clocks Sat night/Sun morning so it feels too early :sad2:

We had quite a productive weekend, my Dad came over to help us change a tap in our bathroom - it was a mixer tap and the hot stopped working. It's nice to have hot water there again. He also helped us out in the jungle.... er garden :thumbsup2 so it looks much better :goodvibes

I ordered my camera + 2 x memory cards and a slash proof strap :goodvibes Can't wait to get them and I've got a 4 day weekend to play with it :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

We also booked all our Med cruise excursions :cool1: less than 4 weeks now - it's gonna be so nice just being in a warmer climate :sunny: and spending time with DH - he's working so much at the moment  he deserves the break.

Have a great day everyone :thumbsup2
