Excellent meal. We had the same.

It snowed today. Looking forward to this cruise.
Hi everyone!

Skye

Good Morning Everyone !!! 261 days until we sail.

I so wish that Southwest would come out with the flights for December...does anyone know when they will release those flights...I looked on the website and I can't find it anywhere....it should be soon though, they are booking through Nov 2nd right now.

Have a great day all.

Cheri - I have no idea about Southwest. AirTran has usually been my airline of choice to Orlando, but they are pulling out of my airport (Bloomington, IL) in June. Right now the lowest fare for me is $349 on Delta, but I'm not ready to buy before summer - unless I see a lower fare. I'm paying $134 RT in April, and I hate to see fares over $300 from the same airport in December!

I hear ya....Airtran doesn't service my airport, but I am very happy with SW....I've checked other airlines and the cost is outrageous, plus the cost of baggage fees!!! I'll just be patient and wait for SW to release the December flights....right now we are looking at 255 pp RT...that's still high, but I'll take what I can get. From what I hear, the prices are only going to go up.

Hey all, I heard from Southwest Airlines today that on May 21st they will release the flights for December.....so for those of us who want to fly SW, we now know when we can book our flights.

Thanks Cher!
We're waiting for SW too. We will compare them to USAir- but we enjoy SW so much more- and free bags on a 7 day cruise is a HUGE plus!!

I've looked at SW for flights in November, just to get some idea of pricing, then looked at USAir....BIG price difference, plus the cost of bags....not to mention the travel time is way longer because of a layover in Charlotte...think I'll just wait for SW to open flights and get non stops...2 hours gate to gate is much better than 5-6 hours travel time with USAir...I've even looked at United and Continental...even worst...ugg

Good Morning Everyone !!! Well, another week is almost in the tank. I've done my filing at work, just a couple of little projects left...........................going to be a S L O W afternoon....anyone have any big plans for the weekend?

just booked our prestay hotel this morning art of animation little mermaid building. we will see if i keep it prices were 110 on weeknights and 120 on weekends. A little steep for slow season i think..... the pricing is the same as the perfered location at the other values, so standard value room for same for nights is -68. Something to think about, i think the new resort looks awesome though!

I checked online several months ago for the Art of Animation in December, and at that time the only rooms available to book were the suites. Good to know they are now booking standard rooms.

**I just checked rates online at the Little Mermaid for Dec. 1-8, then called WDW to see if they had a AAA discount. (It's too early for annual passholder rates.) AAA saves 10%, so Sunday-Thurday nights are $94.50/night plus tax (regularly $105), and Friday and Saturday are $108/night plus tax (regularly $120).

Checking back in gang - sorry I've been away. Life does that to my board surfing!

I've been in Denver all week on business. The mountains taunt me - I can see them, but have not been able to get into them. Such a sad existence huh?! :)

However, I did book our flights to and from our cruise, so that's resolved. We went ahead and used frequent flier miles so our cost is a grand total of $10!! Although I am not sure about baggage fees - we may have some of that in December, but last fall we did a 10 day cruise and only checked one bag, so a 7 day cruise should be a piece of cake!

Looks like in crunching numbers, we are going to go visit Harry Potter this trip. Two days at Universal and one day at Disney was way cheaper than three days in the Disney parks, so the compromise is to have 1 day on Disney property. If there are no special events with the cruise, we'll probably do EPCOT Friday night since that's our favorite park.

The time is nearing - kind of fun to start looking forward!

I'm waiting for the dates for MVMCP at Disney, so a meet for that can be organized.

Will organize a 'Drink around the World' at EPCOT, probably first or second day we get back from cruise..

What's been organized will be posted on the other thread.

:cool2:[Hint, hint. Everone, if you are organizing something, let me know.]

I'm pretty sure I'll fly home the same day the cruise ends, but hope to arrive in Orlando between Nov. 28 and Dec. 1.

DD's college isn't finished with exams until Dec 6, so we have to do WDW after the cruise.

As it stands now, we won't have any time before or after the cruise....however we are planning to fly down on Friday, so I could organize a pre-cruise breakfast (probably at Fresh)...as it gets closer, I will start a post and see how much interest I can drum up.
