I love the CHIT CHAT intro idea. I am just starting to read the cruise threads- it still seem so far away. And I have 3.0 to do before this one, but I want to get to know everyone who is going, so this is us...

2) DVC since 2000 (VWL, SSR & BCV)
3) Also traveling with NO KIDS! But we are bringing our good friends Steve & Barb!
4) Frequently cruise DCL and travel to WDW WITHOUT our kids ... but DS#2 is now a Cast Memeber- so we actually get to visit him on our trips!
5) John's favorite character is TIGGER
6) Linda's favorite is MINNIE MOUSE
7) Live in South Jersey (just under 20 miles east of Philadelphia)

4) This will be our 6th cruise (all on DCL); Have 2 DCL cruises before this one and I won't tell you how often we go to WDW (We'll be there Friday!!!)

6) My favorite characters are MALEFICIENT and some animal characters (Pascal) - We are both HUGE Pirates fans!!!!!!!
7) Live in Tampa - moved here in 2007 from Ohio - greatest day in my life (crossing the FL border and knowing it was for good and not vacation!!!!)

Any chance you will be staying at WDW for a few days prior to podCast 4.0? That's our plan as of now ... and we typically fly Southwest (I get priority boarding). For the past few years, we've had the unplanned pleasure of flying to our cruise on the same exact flight as other DISers. Our luck improved earlier this month when we flew home from Vancouver ... had a few DISers one at least one segment on the way home.

Sure Royalties on the CHIT CHAT! All yours!

We split our flying loyalities between Southwest and USAir. Schedules, frequent flyer miles and cost dictate who we choose each time.
Normally, we tack on a couple days after the cruise, but it's too early to tell yet what we might do for 4.0. We'll have to see what 2012 brings! We'll let you know as times gets closer. It would be fun to be on the same flight with other DIS cruisers!

I am the Disney "geek", she is not

1) PCC 2.0 only DCL cruise - Silver Club?
2) No DVC, no annual pass
3) No kids. Leaving my guy at home
4) Went to Magic Kingdom for one day in 1971 and one day in 1973. Have returned only in December. 2006 - 3 nights, 2008 - 8 night, 2010 - 10 nights on property, 4 nights on Wonder. I am not a frequent visitor to WDW.
5) No favorite characters. Enjoy them all
6) Live in Maine since 1988. Prior to that, I was a South Jersey girl.
7) Expect to spend several days, perhaps a week, in WDW before cruise. Would be interested in sharing a room. I have a Pop budget, since I do not spend much time in the room.

1) Well, we are supposed to go on our first cruise this year (one the Dream), but I don't know if that is going to happen.

Not much better to be honest...the doctor gave me meds for 20 days, so that tells me that this isn't going away anytime too soon. I'm used to being active, and this is driving me nuts...I can't do anything...I'm just taking each new day as it comes and hope for the best...thanks for asking

Good Morning all....well, with the help of my girls and Brad, the yard is finally cleaned up after last week's storm...the city dropped off a yard waste container yesterday and they filled it up. My girls cleaned off the deck and the furniture and DBF cleaned up the pool. Now, he can begin to mow the grass again...whew...what a mess that was.

I'm still not right...some days are ok, some not...I'm back at work, but not happy about it.

Great idea for a CHIT CHAT intro, Steven!

Nancy and Vicki - college friends in the '70s who reconnected on Facebook 2 years ago!

1) DCL Silver - both of us have been on 3 Disney cruises, and we were roommates on the last two
2) No DVC, but I usually have a WDW annual pass
3) I am married with 3 adult children, and Vicki is single. I usually go to WDW solo, although my 20-year-old son accompanied me to WDW this April.
4) My family has never sailed on DCL. I have cruised with my husband and all of my kids on other cruise lines, but the 5 of us have never cruised together!
5) I really don't have a favorite character, and I don't know about Vicki
6) I live in central Illinois (Champaign), and Vicki lives in Nashville
7) I hope to spend a week at WDW pre-cruise

The weather all over the country has certainly been odd this spring! I'm glad you were able to clean-up after the last storm.

I'm sorry you are still in pain. Having had back problems on and off for years, I know that it's hard to function when your back isn't well. I hope things will improve for you very soon.

CHIT CHAT intro ...

Scott and Sara: (40/32 - married 2 - this is our second marriage each - got it right this time!)

1) DCL Gold and Silver Castaway Club
2) No DVC - too many other good cruise lines to enjoy!
3) Traveling with no kids this trip!
4) Sailed multiple times with Disney, honeymooned on Carnival (a Samantha Brown episode no less in which we showed up multiple times), Royal Caribbean and Princess.
5) Scott does not claim a favorite character. I will claim EPCOT as best park as I am more of a theme park fan than characters. Lived in Tampa as a young child and with grandparents there - so visited WDW often as the resort grew.
6) Sara's favorite is Ariel. Since marrying Scott is developing a fondness for WDW and DCL - but loves travel in general.
7) Live in between Dallas and Fort Worth, TX just southwest of DFW airport.

Hi Scott!

Just to clarify (I think) ... DVC is not exclusive to Disney Cruise Line. DVC is a Real Estate owned portion of various Disney resorts. Of course, there are other perks, which allow you to use your DVC membership, either on DCL, or non Disney accommodations. We've used our DVC membership for DCL, but have also used it for resort stays in California and New York ... and plan to travel to Germany via DVC as well.
