PodCast 4.0 Chit Chat

We saw the 10am show at Downtown Disney - it was a great movie! We enjoyed all of the action and it was more Jack Sparrow-oriented. I highly recommend it!!

Had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe - they had a new seafood menu with specials and it was delish :goodvibes

Today is my "Sunday" night since I work weekends............Sunday is then my "Friday" -- no complaints here!

Have a good weekend everyone!

We went to the 1pm show and got right in...wasn't very crowded....I thought it was a good movie!!!

Good Morning All....second day on sick leave....I tore my sciatic nerve...i'm confinded to the couch...1 more day to go.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Fell better! That is not a fun nerve to deal with.

That sounds very painful! I hope you'll feel better soon.

Evolution was big and dark. If it had a theme, I couldn't tell you what it was! The London Tube lounge looks bright and fun. Yes - the French boudoir looks very feminine, but I think it is more attractive than Pink. I like the Irish Pub the best. If I start drinking in the next 18+ months, maybe I'll hang out there! :rotfl2:

The fireworks are a nice touch, but I wouldn't mind skipping the pirate show. I don't like crowds at WDW while waiting for the fireworks, and I don't like even closer quarters on a ship to see the pirate show and fireworks.

I may skip the pirate show unless I can find a "safer" location to view it - I didn't do well at all with the pushing and shoving hordes on the Dream in March.

I watched the Pirate show in the Wonder from the top deck. Close enough for what I needed to see. I did not join in the dancing.

I'm with you! People were blocking the stairs in order to watch the pirate show.

It is...thanks ladies for your concern...unfortunatly...I re-injured it last night getting out of the shower....so I spent another day on the couch....not sure I will make it a full day at work tomorrow...

Not to mention, in our area had a storm (from you know where) last evening.....I lost several large limbs from my front tree, one landed 6 feet from my car, another 3 feet from my front door...DBF spent hours out there today, cutting them down...there is debris all over the yard....and in the entire neighborhood for that matter....we were very lucky....on the news they said the winds were over 70 miles per hour.

I know it's nothing like Joplin had, but it sure was scary.

It was a scary storm! I was at work and people who leave at 4:30 were running to their cars and some guy almost got hit by a flying tree limb.

Good luck Cheri! I've dealt with sciatica for the last year - that must be a pretty painful deal!

And we feel your pain. I live in the D/FW area - we had a tornado fly over our house Tuesday evening. Thankfully it did not lower, but we heard it in between hail storms. We got to "enjoy" our laundry room for more time than I enjoyed. It's been a crazy week.

Thankfully we did not have too much damage, but the yard looks like a bomb went off!

Yeah, that describes my yard perfectly...front and back. Everything on my deck got moved and my umbrella got pulled out and is now toast.....the pool is a mess now too...and we had just got it right !!! Oh, well....I guess Mother Nature is having a bad week and taking it out on all of us. Hopefully things will settle down soon.

Good Morning Everyone. Well, I'm back at work, but I'm still in pain. Might have to go back to the doctor this week, as I don't feel that the meds are working.

DBF, DD and DGD got the yard, deck and pool cleaned up. The city is dropping off a yard waste container tomorrow so we can load it all up and have it hauled away.

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Weekend.

Oh, just in case anyone wants to know...we have 556 days until we sail away on the Fantasy.

I had planned to time the activation of a new annual pass for Dec. 7, 2011 so it would end Dec. 7, 2012 - right before our cruise. Then I caved and bought a plane ticket to Orlando for the end of October, so my annual pass will start then. :woohoo: (I love going to WDW during the Food & Wine Festival!) I'll look forward to our Fantasy cruise, but right now my upcoming WDW trips excite me more.

I hear ya. I don't have any other trips planned at this point, however, I am considering taking DGD down for spring break next year. Just have to wait for next years school schedule to be released before I can book anything.

I hope that you keep getting better! I had a friend fly in over the weekend. We enjoyed the beach, Williamsburg and our pool!

Any interest in having a 'cabin crawl'? It's something I didn't do last time. But since it's a new ship, are people curious what other cabins look like?

I would definitely be interested. :thumbsup2
And we would gladly offer our cabin up for viewing as well. We're on deck 9 in a 4A.
