We're gearing up for a MAGICal cruise of our own. We leave in 20 days for a Western and we're getting very excited. Some have said the Magic has had a bit of a shift toward the negative as far as their staff is concerned, but we heard the same thing about the Dream and loved it. Hope you guys had a great time.

We'll probably be making at least one dummy res on this cruise since the '13 dates will probably be out soon. When on our most recent cruise, we booked a dummy date and it just happened to be the 12/13 3-Night Dream cruise. Obviously, that'll have to be moved since we can't clone ourselves and be in two places at once.

The Magic was just great - I will write a TR at the end of the month, but you can see an abbreviated version over on the cruise line board. Really, it was great :thumbsup2

The cheapest dates for dummy dates were the 3-night Dream cruises in October 2012 - they are cheaper than the Nov/Dec ones. (I am passing along that info since the rebooking agent didn't even know that!)

Thanks for the tip...we'll have to keep that in mind. If we end up booking a dummy in Oct/Nov, it might end up being an actual cruise. This will be the 2nd year in a row we've done the Halloween week cruise, and the year before that, we did a 3-Night that sailed on the Thurs after Halloween. My birthday is in early Nov, and we try to sneak in a vacation around then when we can.

Good Morning Everyone !!! Had a productive weekend and no rain either !!! My yard in finally starting to dry out.

So I was currious...do you remember what the "Movie Night" movie was? I realize it might not be the same at the end of the month, but it'd be nice to have an idea of what we might see.

Just returned from a 10 day Southern Caribbean cruise on the Emerald Princess. WOW!! Have I been missing out by taking those "short" 7 day cruises! :)

Great time and we loved Aruba...Princess has a great product and it was terrific for what we needed.

And while we were gone - 4 inches of rain. That gets us up to 4.5 inches for the summer! :)

Happy Tuesday all...

Let's see, they played Pirates On Stranger Tides and Lion King 3D. On pirate night, we saw "African Cats."

Welcome back! I'm glad you enjoyed your Princess cruise. I was on a Transatlantic cruise on the Emerald Princess in April, and I'm quite fond of cruising on Princess.

What is a PCC ??? I'm already booked through DCL with two aft rooms 7192 & 94. Any changes will result in almost a $500 increase because of the new changes in room clasification. Also have $75 credit on each room.
Tell me more about this event ?? Thanks!
