Well.........if you don't mind us coming along It would be a great opportunity to get together, and if I remember correctly, Jackie's daughter is the same age as Kimberly so that would be nice!

I enjoyed our Breakfast at Boma in December. Sounds like a good place to eat since we are at AKV.

I second (or third, fourth, of fifth) Boma for breakfast morning before the cruise.

But I still want to go there for dinner. I went there with my family in 2006 and we all loved it.

LOVE their skillets and do think it's fun. Plus, they have a DVC discount.

Include us in the ADR Jen! That would be great to do it as a group. Then maybe we can figure out a way to share a cab/cabs over to the Swan/Dolphin. For the last cruise, we got what was their first reservation for breakfast - 7:00? 7:30? because we had to be to the swan by 9:00/9:30.

I am not official yet, but I have put a ticker down in my signature with the hopes that it will bring me good luck so that I can go on this Podcast cruise with y'all.

I have twin boys who will be 6 and we are adopting a little girl from China this summer, who will be 5. How well she does once we return home, and how quickly we are able to get her citizenship papers will be the two deciding factors on whether or not we can go on the PCC. I SOOOOO want to be there. Please send us Pixie Dust! The next 6 months will be life changing for our whole family..... and one can never have too much Pixie Dust!

We are doing Wispering Canyon Cafe (WL) for breakfast before the cruise.

Let me talk to Matthew and see if he's interested in doing this too! We've never eaten there either and would be our chance to see WL all dolled up for Christmas...

I'm glad they are doing discounts as well, at least it's something! The Swan is a great deal for $99. We would rather go to a hotel where the room is "enclosed" in the building, like the Swan, AKL, Poly, ect. plus the location, transportation, and large room are all positives.



I did speak briefly with a guide when we went to the D2D event, she was going to get back to me regarding some of the current offers they have going on now, but she hasn't contacted me yet. It's definatley somthing we will be doing, just haven't bitten the bullet yet.

Any idea which resort you would choose?

Looks like park hours for December will be available soon. When I click on 11/30 plus 10 days I see the beginning of December hours.

We're gonna have a look at where we are going to eat this weekend

Now that we are getting close to the 6 month mark and park hours coming out, has anyone had any ideas of ADR's? Will there be any group meals like Cape May Cafe last time?

We had breakfast there once, thought it was very good. The atmosphere was great, and all of the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend Whispering Canyon for breakfast!

I'm gonna pass on WC. It would mean waking up much earlier. I'll stick to Boma, so I can saunter down after a refreshing slumber. I must have my beauty sleep, you know.

We will be staying in Cape Canaveral so we'll have to see you all on the boat. But I wanted to say that we do both WCC and Boma for breakfast at least twice each trip. Neither of us would willingly do WCC for dinner, because we are unimpressed with their dinner food but breakfast is great. Also they are very gentle with their silliness at 7:30 in the morning.

If I could only do one table service a day I would have to pick breakfast a lot of the time. So with that in mind if you haven't tried them please try:

WCC
Boma
Crystal Palace
Kona (although I don't get the Tonga Toast here)
Wolfgang Puck Express- not table service exactly but a great choice for a DTD or waterpark day since they open later than the other places.

Boatwrights used to do a wonderful breakfast too, but then they closed it.

So is everyone doing the WCC breakfast actually staying at WL or VWL the night before? I only ask because, per Todd's comment above, the reservation may have to be an early one and WL/VWL isn't easy to get to from other parts of The World necessarily (unless you have a vehicle).

I think that they have a 15% DVC discount at breakfast by the way.
