Folks, it is days like we are having in Maine now when the temperature is reaching the high eighties that I am glad to not be living in Florida. Glad that I take Florida vacations in Decemnber.

I am such a wimp when it comes to hot weather now! I used to tolerate it better when I lived in South Jersey.

Hope everyone is having a good day! My mom just called me at work and we got VWL for the night of the 16th! I was hoping for BLT, but I can't wait to see Wilderness Lodge with all the decorations. Now to convince her that we need to go to MVMCP to see the Castle with the lights! Shouldn't be to difficult right?

Well done! I am going to make sure we head over to the WL to have a look around, it's lovely at Christmas

I was looking at that thread - it was making me nervous

We're making time in our schedule for resort hopping, even if it's just the ones on the Monorail Route....I can't wait to see them decorated.

I think we will spend a day doing this too - I must make sure we make it over the Swan and Dolphin as we didn't make it there in 2008.

Got a pin code this morning for 40% off all resorts for post PCC nights. I got all excited at first thinking maybe we would stay in a DVC resort - possibly BLT... I looked at availability online, just for fun, but even at 40% off, the prices are insane! Starting Dec 17th, it becomes Holiday Season and the rates are crazy! I guess we will be keeping our Swan reservation, lol.

This is definatley where I can see the value of DVC.

another hot & sticky day in Canada...a good day to be working in the A/C for 10 hours.

We are still waiting on our DVC stuff in the mail, but apparently it takes longer for the international stuff.

I wanted to do some FE work last night, but homework took priority. Hopefully tonight...I know I am keeping some of you waiting...

And for those of us not lucky enough to win one, just a heads up (from reading other threads....) final payments are due in about 4 months for regular staterooms, less than 3 for suites.

In March I learned about the $90/pt DVC buy-in at OKW with 100 pt minimum and decided my $2500 estimated cost for my December stay would make a nice down payment on all future trips to the world rather than just give it to Disney for a 1 time stay.

I'm glad they are doing discounts as well, at least it's something! The Swan is a great deal for $99. We would rather go to a hotel where the room is "enclosed" in the building, like the Swan, AKL, Poly, ect. plus the location, transportation, and large room are all positives.

I did speak briefly with a guide when we went to the D2D event, she was going to get back to me regarding some of the current offers they have going on now, but she hasn't contacted me yet. It's definatley somthing we will be doing, just haven't bitten the bullet yet.
