Good morning everyone. I am so ready for some sunshine!!!

I'm pretty excited, though. James ordered me an ipad. Very excited to get it, but feeling a little guilty because of the expense.

Tracy has been very nice, and apparently escalated the matter on to DU management while the first MED cruise was still in process.

I am waiting for DCL to wake the heck up and fix their screw-up!

I am glad you got Tracy on it. I'm sure I got on her nerves when I contacted her because DCL did something similar to me. I booked while on board and while yes I was slightly unprepared (didn't have Tracy's last name) they still put me in a tight situation. While booking I requested to book with Tracy with DU. They said they needed a last name. As an agent myself with another agency I then asked could I put it under DU and add the specific agent later. Nope! So then they said your only option is to book under you or under DCL and change it later. So..I booked under DCL, came home and emailed Tracy to get it changed. Well after going back and forth with them telling her it couldn't be changed (when I know it can) and causing all kinds of drama I finally got it changed. I owe Tracy! Tracy!

It reminds me of the last Amazing Race series where that girl wore water wings to go down the big waterslide in Dubai - tho that pool was only waist deep I still crack up when I think of her asking her BF to "blow them up more!"

I think this weekend DH and I will start on the plan for ADR's and other activities for December I'm looking forward to trying to make our ADR's online - never done that before

We're starting to think about which days in which parks and ADRs too. Only have 5 days in the parks so will go to WWoHP on Friday before the cruise since we don't want to miss DATW and weekends will be busier at WWoHP.

Also want to experience MVMCP for the first time so we'll have to do it the evening we get off the ship. Hmmmmm...how's DH going to like being in MK til midnite and then rope drop at Epcot the next day?

Had a fab time shopping and having dinner with a Dis'er and her family last nite - hard to go wrong with the Cheesecake Factory

That is crazy - Yvet and Emiel mentioned you guys (and in fact Emiel ate some things in your honour ) and I was looking forward to meeting you.

DU have managed to pull off some incredible things so fingers crossed DCL realise they made a mistake and you can have DU as your travel agent Let us know what happens!

I listened to DINNER AND A PODCAST ... heard Emiel order MY Escargot ... 2 servings, on two separate days! Ivan (server from Hungary) usually arranges to get me a double serving of Escargot one day prior to it beng on the menu. Donna and I have had Ivan on EB Panama (Aug-Sep 2008), EB Caribbean/Tortola (April 2009), EB Caribbean/St. Croix (December 2009), and of course, EB TransAtlantic (April 2010).

As for DU ... Tracy was very nice ... but said DCL would not budge ... even after escalating the matter to DU management. I have to go back to talk to DVC Member Satisfaction, as DCL seemingly is doing something to corrupt each of my cruises. I'm thinking I am on their black-ball list for some reason. 3 separate DCL managers banned me from the EB T/A cruise ... had to get DVC to intervene. I will have to go the same route again - demanding DVC buy back my points, since they cannot be used on DCL. Ah, Cunard will be a nice change of venue (and cheaper, as well)!

That Amazing Race episode was so funny (to watch, I'm sure the poor girl was really terrified) and at one point I'm sure he tried to push her down

I'm glad we have a nice long holiday - 20 nights in total - as we don't have to worry too much about doing everything in a few days. Although I'm still not tempted to go off property to Universal HP doesn't interest me enough to go on a couple of new rides (I'm sure for big HP fans it's gonna be great) we'll just wait for it to calm down and do it somne other year.

Don't push your DH - you don't want it to be the last PCC I'm sure he'll be fine if he gets something in return though

But OMG for DCL can't believe they are treating a Gold castaway club member (Yvet told me you smuggled them into some exclusive event ) like that - I love Disney but I fully support you choosing to spend your vacation money somewhere else - truly shocking they would do that, and with it being the PCC did they not think the other 700 Disers would hear about it Bunch of muppets

The library building project is coming to its conclusion and it has been stressful in ways I hadn't realized. It was pointed out that I don't seem "happy". Funny, I hadn't really noticed. But it was true. I was hiding it only from myself.

I have never listened to music in my library director's office. I tried, the vocals distracted me and I was always afraid it would be too loud.

Today I tried DIS Radio for the first time. It was low volume. Mostly instrumental. Evey now and then came a song that I really liked and I smiled broadly.

At the end of the day, I realized that I was happy! For the first time in a while I felt happy and contented at work. It was wonderful.

Behold, the healing magic of Disney music and DIS Radio!

I got to meet up with a few cruisers yesterday at the Muddy Buddy. Jason and Chris did an awesome job. I got to see them hit the mud and cross the finish line. I posted a couple of pictures over on a thread I started detailing the Mother's Day adventure my family put together for me in MK. DH found a fun and creative way to deliver my present. Just finally catching up after our surprise trip to Disney! What a fun 6 days it was. Jason hadn't ridden a bike in nearly 20 years and he had the time of his life running the muddy buddy for Todd. He really wants to do the muddy buddy in August at Chicago. Are you up for it Todd?
