Podcast 2.0 Discussion Thread 3

I started my PCC 2.0 spreadsheet yesterday too - starting to think about potential ADRs.

Since we'll likely be keeping our VWL stays both pre and post cruise, we probably won't participate in any departure morning breakfast if you guys do it again (I think Kelly's starting to talk about Cape May as a possibility) - because we'd have to haul all of our luggage to breakfast since we'd be taking a taxi over that morning. Did anyone do that last time?

I'm definitely thinking of a Boardwalk/Epcot area dinner on Saturday night 12/11 prior to the Meet and Greet on the Boardwalk though. Right now considering Yachtsman's since we've never eaten there. We like LeCellier too - so that may be an option.

Yay! It's actually time to start thinking about these things!

I gotta have Jeff and Val to walk back to BCV this time. I did a Jellyrolls meet the same night many people were at Yeehaw Bob during DAP, and I walked back alone. It was seriously creepy!

As for planning pre-cruise, I haven't given it much thought because I am pretty much committed to seeing some RADP friends I haven't been able to see for a few years. I will probably do DIS stuff post-cruise, like DATW again. I had a lot of fun with that at DAP.

I have a feeling I'm going to be "floating" around since I'm doing the solo thing again.

Hello my asterisk friend

Just a quick FYI - I'm trying to get booked at VWL for the post cruise stay ( we're flying in on Sunday so no pre-cruise for us ).
Right now I have a town car booked to pick us up at the port for the ride back to WDW for post cruise. If Dino and I get the reservation for VWL, you and Philip are more than welcome to ride with us.

Now that the ABD trip is done with, time to get cracking with PCC 2.0. So today I've booked:

Plane Ticket on JetBlue for arrival on Friday Dec 10th
Pre-Stay BCV for Dec 10-12

Post Stay at SSR for Dec 16 - 19 (To be switched over to BCV or BWV on Sunday.)

I've got to book PC transfers and decided on what I am going to do btw MCO and WDW. It's either DME or I'll do a towncar.

Is the plan to still do MVMCP on Thursday?

What else am I missing?

I'm planning on taking advantage of the $99 per night rate at the Dolphin post cruise. It will be nice to be able to walk back to the resort after DATW.

I'm planning on taking advantage of the $99 per night rate at the Dolphin post cruise. It will be nice to be able to walk back to the resort after DATW.

It was extremely peaceful, calm and serene last year.

What?? James wasn't down with you staying with Don?! Actually during ABD, I suggested a scene for your flatties: you kicking Don off the side of the bed and him falling off the duvet. This might explain why flatties weren't passed on to me

BTW, I've used Mears before - it's really easy and not a big deal.

Hmm, that would make one interesting picture Don and I are now very separated - in different countries in fact.

What time do you need to be at the airport? We are leaving to drive home the morning after DATW and have a ride to the airport for you if it works that you won't be there for hours..

Nicole - we are at S/D as well so there you go.. you have your ride, now you must DATW

Thanks, Kelly. Tonya has also offered me a ride to the airport. It's going to depend on flights. Air Tran has not released anything yet.

We're seriously considering ditching SSR for the $99 rate at the Swan. That rate is hard to beat, plus I have never stayed there. It looks like we're heading home right after the cruise. We just made our work schedule for July-Dec and I will have to work the Fri after the cruise. Oh well.
