I took the opportunity to visit my G-pa in the hospital. Certainly air conditioned there. The pups are at home though. I left a block of ice and a bowl of water and the fans on where they sleep. They're odd though. Yesterday, even in 90°+ heat, they still went and laid in the sun to soak it up. Don't they know that causes skin cancer?;);)

QUOTE]

My one dog Kelly is the same way - yesterday as it was approaching 90 degrees outside- she decided that would be a great time to play fetch in the backyard. Until yesterday I never realized how long her tongue was :rotfl2: - she was panting like crazy, but wouldn't give me a moments peace unless I was throwing the ball. She did love the ice cube infused water bowl though

Passport not necessary for cruise. But it is required to go to Canada.

I like going to Canada! They talk a different language, so it is just like going to a foreign country. Does it feel like that when you go to Toronta?

No they sound pretty much the same here. Except much more polite and proper. And they add the "u" sound. Its a duller instead of a doller, phonetically of course.

I always travel with a passport. Since it is good for 10 years it makes it $13.50 a year.

And as my father always said "Always have a current passport because you never know when your going to have to leave the country in a hurry!"

I like the way your dad thought.:thumbsup2

G just called. The power just went out at home. Maybe I will stay at work for a while. I have A/C and a fridge and a computer and internet....:scratchin

Sounds like a nice day to work late....

Although I did enjoy finding the immigration man to stamp it. He seemed quite pleased that someone had come to seek him out so he may do his job.:goodvibes Its good to have a purpose.

That's one thing I forgot to do in May and June. Where can he be found?

We went through a gate and down a hallway and then turned and another hallway, almost out the building on your right. :goodvibes

The person who 'checks you into the Bahamas' as you leave the dock can direct you to the gate.

That very well may happen. I bring them in if I work a weekend day. Its just there isn't anything to do that would be productive here....no laundry, no dishes, no vacuuming...it'd be like a mini vacation at work. And that is wrong on a multitude of levels.

This is totally O.T. but I just had to share this.

I am the office manager for a Marina and a Restaurant. I have been doing some research and checking for some updated software for the Marina accounting.

I rec'd a sample disk in the mail today addressed to:

Larry Lee

I guess they justed figured a Marina manager would be a man :confused3

:lmao::lmao:

:scared1: Interesting as to WHY you'd be leaving in a hurry :confused3

So, James says to me the other night, "Nicole, I'm going to be gone for a week. You should go to WDW." Me: "OK." See my new ticker :) It's going to be hotter than hot and more humid than humid, but I don't care.

Why thank you kind sir. :)

BUT.....I always have to wonder who you (meaning Americans, not just Todd) talk to. :scratchin
I say "doller" not "duller", and I don't say "aboot", I say "abowt".

Now...I have to admit...Newfoundlanders have a whooooole different dialect altogether, especially after a few drinks.
