They switched us over to Direct Deposit with Online Stubs several years ago. However there are still a handful of people who get a paper check (we print them). I love direct deposit - I hate going to the bank - I don't know why everyone doesn't do it. :confused3

The company I used to work for went to totally electronic paychecks. Direct deposit or PayCards. That was a pain setting up new employees, but a real cost saver for 67K employees paid weekly.

Its optional where I am now. I love it. Always have. Easy and super convenient.

Happy Saturday!

Too early for me to think about shoes. :goodvibes

Time to start a spreadsheet though!

Its never too early to think about shoes....:scratchin

We are driving. I haven't driven to Florida since 1976. I wonder how I will pack for this? hmmm...no real weight restrictions past what DH can haul...;)

I just hope you get a pleasant border agent.

Wow it's quiet today - are you all sleeping off your hangovers :rotfl:

Didn't have a single one. But still slept in until 8:30.:goodvibes

What is everyone thinking about doing on the cruise? Excursions? Palo? etc.

I'll probably be doing the 5K on Castaway Cay, hopefully a Palo brunch. I don't plan on getting off the ship at Nassau this time.

Val & I didn't get off the ship last year in Nassau. But I will say that Chris Wing's description of Atlantis over dinner that night sounded pretty interesting. Still, I'm not at all sure we will debark in Nassau this trip either.

I owe someone a Happy Birthday "You Can Legally Drink Outside of the US" drink, and then probably going over to Atlantis. Mom recommended it from when she sailed through Nassau and suggested it again when she found out I didn't go last time and would be returning again.

The tough thing about planning, or even thinking this far in advance, is that there is limited time for the official DIS events and, at least last time, those were on the Nassau day and the day at sea. I would think the schedule would be similar - maybe even tougher because of the sheer numbers this time.

Indubitably. Time will be at a premium. So much to do, so little time to squeeze it all into.

Sad to say, I will no longer be on this sailing. Life gets in the way.

Hope to make another one someday!

:guilty::sad1::sad:

Miss you Miss Mindy.:flower3:

We plan on getting off at Nassau, but not for long...my daughter wants to just buy "something" from a foreign country...I told her that the DIS events will take priority

Buying something on Castaway Cay is technically buying something in a foreign country.....just sayin'.

I couldn't think of a better place to make my 9,000th post!:yay::yay::yay:

Well played, young padawan.

Good Morning! A super hot Tuesday here! We could really use some rain.

Thinking I have 22 days til my visit to Chicago.:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Have a great day!

Odd. My countdown is quite similar. Meeting up with anyone fun?;);)

Happy Tuesday Friends!!!

Hot here as well. Especially since our central air poo-ed out. Got up to 96° yesterday in my house. (Where's the 'I'm sweating my naughty bits off' smilie?) Today is supposed to be even hotter. Yuck. Oh well, this too shall pass.

Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend.

Today is a short day for me, I have to go to the Dr this afternoon on a follow up to the labs done last month.

Hope everything is clear, how is you knee now?

I think unless it's a reallt small company over here we use BACS (goes directly into your bank account), have done since I started working at least!

Didn't have a single one. But still slept in until 8:30.:goodvibes

:thumbsup2 Nice one, I hope you enjoyed the rest :goodvibes

:headache: Sorry to hear that and I hope you didn't sweat anything off - naughty or otherwise :scared1: Is it getting fixed?

Oh and I love your little yodelling smiley - make me grin every time I see it

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone enjoys the short work week. Don't sweat the weather....It will cool off before you know it. :)

I'm feeling a bit Froggy today.

Happy Tuesday folks! :wave2:

Fab weather the entire weekend :cool1:- and enjoyed the fireworks from our living room and yard: one at a park somewhere close by on July 3rd! :thumbsup2 the official local big one  and the local yahoos :sad2:

I was snapping pictures left and right. That is just something you do not get to see everyday. I have a picture of the shoe tree also, but it is not as glamorous.

Let's see the shoe tree, Mike! :3dglasses

Unless Deb does a 360, I'll be going to Atlantis on Nassua. :headache: She wants to see the resort/casino but does not care about the waterpark/beach. So I need to research the ala-carte options for Atlantis. It won't be a DCL excursion I'll tell you that.

We took the water taxi over to Atlantis - a tour guide jumped on and gave us a running commentary the whole way, pretty funny so it wasn't hard to part with a tip to the self-proclaimed, "entrepreneur". We checked out the casino & shops too, and the aquarium is pretty amazing. After we were done, we just caught a cab to the Queen's Staircase, etc. Easy peasy. :cool2:

Sad to say, I will no longer be on this sailing. Life gets in the way.

So sad to hear, Mindy - you'll be missed! :grouphug:

We plan on getting off at Nassau, but not for long...my daughter wants to just buy "something" from a foreign country...I told her that the DIS events will take priority

She might be interested in getting a chop for her passport too then - just off the dock at the Customs House :thumbsup2

I couldn't think of a better place to make my 9,000th post!:yay::yay::yay:

:cheer2: congrats, Jeff! :cheer2:

I just hope you get a pleasant border agent.

Tell :santa: I've been a good girl, and give the Easter Bunny a hug for me too! ;)

It's a short week - make it a great one, all! :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:

Morning all - it is so freakin hot here, it's unbelievable. We had a nice weekend at my parents beach house. At one point there were 17 people staying there and it got crazy when we all came back from the beach and wanted to take showers. My father took my uncle and cousin out on his boat to do some fishing and the boat wouldn't start back up when they were finished, they had to call the sea tow and just as the sea tow arrived, the boat started up and they were on their way...Then Sunday night as my aunt was leaving, she backed out of my parents driveway and backed into a tree (it's completley wooded area). Needless to say, she wasn't happy and blamed my parents because the tree was there, lol....Now my mother feels bad and wants to pay her for the damage - I told my mother it's not her fault my aunt wasn't carefull! There is always has to be some excitement.

Today is the first day of camp and I hope my kids don't faint from heat exhaustion! It hasn't rained for probably 3 weeks now and my grass is crispy when you walk on it. The town left a recorded message on my machine asking people not to water their lawns since we are in a drought.

I can't believe free dining has been extended to 12/21. Travel agents are going nuts right now re-booking reservations, I bet. Get your dining ressies now before it fills up!

For those staying pre/post cruise not using DVC - Free Dining has been extended into December.

:thumbsup2 I hope that is of some benefit to someone :goodvibes

:sad2: Sounds like a drama filled weekend! I hope you get a break from the heat at some point!

I'm glad we got all ours booked already! I'd hate to be a TA right now

Good morning all. Feels like a Monday and feels like I didn't even have a 3-day weekend. Why is it that always happens?

It's hot here too. Not surface of the sun hot like on the east coast, but getting there.

I'm shocked that they extended free dining into December, even if there are some blackout dates. Have they done that before? I'm glad I'd already made our ADRs for the dining we really wanted pre- and post-cruise.

They did it last year, too, but it wasn't released until late July.

Did the tree appear suddenly? Jump out and attack the car?:rotfl:

Seems it was there when she got there, she should have known it was there.

Hi Everyone - Happy MonTueDay

As Karen said - it was a glorious weekend weather-wise here. We usually don't get so lucky for the 4th holiday.

I can't believe they've extended free dining again. Oh well, eventhough I can't take advantage while on DVC points at least I have my ADRs.
Of course that means the counter service restaurants will be over run. :headache:
I am amazed that people who would eat "normally" will now be stuffing themselves with every morsel possible just because it's free.

Looks like we're going to be roasty-toasty for the rest of this week - thank goodness for a/c :thumbsup2

Enjoy the rest of your day ----

Well good morning everyone! We are back from our two week vacation to the happy place. We finished up at Vero Beach. I think I need to finish every Disney vacation that way. That was sooo relaxing. Nothing to do but sit on the beach or pool and drink beer or fruity drinks. Older DS took the sunscreen out of beach bag and I was too stubborn to go back to the room to get it. Needless to say I am paying for it ROYALLY! My back side could be no more red. Eeeeks! Dumb me!

Now I can focus on this trip. I hope everyone has a splendid Tuesday. It's Tuesday, right?!! I have to get back to reality. Trying to get all the sand out of my clothes. (Washer and dryer at the villa was full of sand. I wonder how often they have to replace them.)
