What is the typical wait time or Pocahontas these days?

We were at AK on 3/18. We went to meet her right before noon, after we saw Finding Nemo at 11 - we waited in the line about 15min, then they take a smaller group down the hill and waited about another 7-10 minutes. It was a very good meet for my girls, and the MM photographer took lots of pics!

We met her last year and it probably took us about 30 min total. We had never done it before, so it was a great meet and greet for my DD, she really enjoyed it!

We saw her at this March Break at Hollywood Studio's Character Palooza.
They have different characters out each day, and for that particular day we had Pocahontas.
No real line for her, so it saved us a lot of time in meeting her.

It's a good way to meet a few characters with minimal wait.
So, if you have a HS day before AK, you may want to try the Character Palooza.

We just returned from the World last weekend. One evening, my DS and I walked over to DHS around 7 (staying at BWV). On the far right of the entrance, where you would purchase tickets, there were characters doing meet and greets. They included: Mary Poppins, Aladdin, Mulan, Maleficent, Minny Mouse and one other. We were so surprised! No waits at all. I got my picture with each of them. No PhotoPass photographers though. I don't think I have ever seen characters out prior to being admitted to a park.

What is the typical wait time or Pocahontas these days?

Going to find out as it is the ideal princess dress for my daughter to wear in June. Prior estimates of 20-30 minutes seem right from prior visits.

I see her in AK and i can't say i've waited longer than 20 minutes total. I usually go earlier in the day though. I can't say how the lines get later. Hope this helps!

We missed her in August, and I felt badly. SHe was one of the characters the gils wanted to meet a lot. We will be back in December. Can someone tell me where she typically meets? I am so direction challenged!!! Especially in AK> I never know where I am in that park, no matter how many times we go.

She is right across from Flame Tree Barbeque, on your right as you near the bridge to Dinoland (but before you cross it).

This is the first I heard of this Characterpalooza. Did some research online and I see Kenny claims he actually has the schedule on his app (otherwise impossible to get). Has anyone used it before? Is it accurate?

We used Kenny's app to get the time and location for this March Break trip. It is accurate.
Without the info, it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE for us to be at that location at that time.

The Characterpalooza happens almost everyday. We did it in our trip 2 years ago, and also in the current March Break.
It gets cancelled for different reasons (rain, other unexplained reasons).
And even if you ask the CMs, they won't tell you about it. We tried to ask, and they just replied with other scheduled character meets.

Why is it such a secret? How do you find out about it? This is at DHS right?
