PMSers Unite!

Very widespread! I had friends posting about it from Toronto to North Carolina. I'm waiting to see if anyone further south felt it.

Golly. Hope everyone is A-OK. They just upgraded to a 6.0 Very unheard of on the east coast.

It seems that it started in VA, but it was felt up the east coast. Wow, it was a little scary when it happened.

PMSers??? I heard you were dead?
The rumors of our death have been greatly exaggerated!

We did? Where was I??
The recording came over the building loudspeaker about a slight swaying of the building. I was shopping online and never noticed.....
We missed it too. The girls and I were in the car on the way to drop DD15 off at band camp. We had no idea until we got to the school and asked why everyone was evacuated!

Did have a salad spinner fall on me when I opened the cabinet. Didn't even think about things shifting in there. I am afraid to open the glasses cabinet!

So I'm awake because of stupid insomnia and what do I find?
The PMS'ers are alive and well! :thumbsup2
I've been gone for several years, but I'm still the snarky one.
Hey you!! So good to see you!
I am getting acclimated to Maine :goodvibes It was great to see you too, and yes, it was a long *** drive!

My update for those not on Facebook....

I am in the process of divorce. The girls and I moved back to Maine at the beginning of July to be closer to family. My oldest however, will be heading back to Florida on Monday to finish her senior year out there.
:
I am on FB and had figured that was what was up when King disappeared from your name. I hope everything is going smoothly and you and hte girls are well and happy.
So does anyone else picture the Power Ranger saying PMSers U NITE when reading the thread title?

Ummm no. No I don't. :lmao:
Holy Cow! We're back?!?!?!
Tig, Teva, Caro, Aimee, Kelly, MF, and everyone else! Miss you ladies!

Phors thanks for the heads up!

Sounds like lots of changes going on for everyone. News here is we are moving to Minnesota. DD14 started high school. Still homeschooling DD12. DS6 is in 1st grade and has to be the happiest person on Earth. And I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off.

As for the effect the PMSers had on my life. Well, the biggest impact was meeting Lara. About 2 years ago, my nephew was diagnosed with the same disease that LaraK's DS has, so I was able to introduce Lara to my DSis. So, now, they are EOS friends.
Hey Shar! Where in MN are you moving to? There are lots of us on here now that are in MN. I don't want to disillusion you but reports of MN greatness have been severely exagerated on the DIS. ;)
WOW....I forgot how much everyone can talk!!!!

I have to hone my skills so as not to miss any of the multitude of cleaver posts. It is nice to see everyone in the same place again.

It is awesome to hear how everyone is doing.

I am back to work after a less than relaxing vacation. Return from vacation early, rash over my entire body, sick kid, broken toilet, TV and garbage disposal. Guess what? Work isn't relaxing either.:confused3 I have close to four hundred emails to go through and a literal pile of work covering my desk.

Uh oh. Pixie is breaking out the sharp knives.

We started school last week. Last year my oldest went to high school for her freshman year but she is back at home for the rest of high school now. It just wasn't a great fit for our family but she did love it.. She is doing okay with the idea of being back at home. It helps that she has a big part in a fairly large theater production. She is also taking songwriting and enrolled in choir in a local high school co-op so she is excited about those. And learning Japanese online.

My boys are doing pretty well. The now 11 year old was really really bad emotionally and mentally last summer. He still has some struggles but is doing much better. We ended up at the ER one night last summer when he wouldn't stop hurting himself. got connected with a great psychiatrist office through that very scary experience. Still trying to figure out if there is an ADHD componant there or not. The meds seem to help but he really hates them. not sure what to do.

My youngest has been struggling with reading but other than that is my easy kid who is doing well. He is an independent sort who basically does his own thing.

As for me, my MS has been pretty bad the last few years but I have a new neuro who I really like and he is helping a lot. Two weeks ago, I cut sugar out of my diet and the difference in how I feel is amazing.

So, that's us.

Awesome to "see" all these favorite people!:yay:

What kind of violent posts do you think we're going to make???

Hi Ladies! Tig said I was a PMSer by default, so I thought I'd join you!
Yes, but whose fault? :rotfl:

You just thought the quivers were your excitement about finding the Land's End deal! :cool1:

wow, that was intense!
TMI, Missy!

TAG FAIRY!!! I laughed out loud at the vision of you being attacked by a salad spinner! Those things are dangerous!

The puppy in your signature is adorable!

The earthquake scared the beejeebers out of me!!! Two of my cats are still hiding and the other 2 are very skittish, which is unlike them. Oh, Tigger just came out from under the couch. My hiding cat, Tigger, not me Tigger. I have not been under the couch today.

Read out of context that makes me giggle. :rolleyes1 I just *knew* you were "family". :rotfl:

Ha ha. When I first read that I thought it said "but then I moved out of Pakistan". LOL Eyebrow threading...probably just as effective as torture.

Welcome to everyone new.

Yep, Lila is going to be 3 in just a few days. I can't believe how much time as flown. It has been a crazy 3 years. It looks like everyone has had major life changes. Big  to everyone who needs one.

Aimee - I loved Maine. Such wonderful memories. There is a great restaurant in Freeport if you ever get a ladies night out. It is called Conundrum. Yummy!

So you say....but what about yesterday, hmmmm???

Glad to hear from all of you so far. That is just crazy!

Pixie, I will be in your neck of the woods on Thursday....want to meet for an earlyish lunch? :cool1::woohoo::yay:

Yes! This is much more personal here, but it's hard to just quickly acknowledge that I saw what you wrote and I like it :thumbsup2

Perhaps we should designate a smilie as our like. Even though it still sends shivers down my spine perhaps we could use this; :cloud9:

Is this where we start getting into trouble?

No! We start getting in trouble when one mentions that there is a thread up yonder (or now it may be down yonder) where someone wants an f/u. It made me look twice.
