PMSers Unite!

 Good afternoon!

Just got back from the Drs and if the ultrasound on my legs come back clean I can finally get off the blood thinners! Yay!! He did say he would give me shots that I would have to give myself before any long plane or car trips though. Fair compromise. He also said that looking at my CT of my chest and lungs it looks like everything is stable. He didn't have the radiology report yet though. But I'm sure he knows what he's looking at. ;) I am very relieved. :dance3:

Tomorrow morning my husband will be home for 2 weeks. I can't wait. We are scooting off to Disney for a few nights. Looking forward to that. We're still kicking around of me flying back with him. Hopefully we can work that out.

Caro- awesome about the bump. I always volunteer for them. Hopefully something could get worked out so you could fly out of Seattle. How far is San Fran from you?

HAPPY SUNDAY, PMSer's!!! :wave2:

Its a beauty in SoCAL! :sunny:

TIG, are you in WDW? Details, we need details! ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY! :dance3:

Guess I'll have to settle for posting on 69 + 1!

Good morning Sunshines. :sunny:
Great news 4s.
Guess who is turning 5 on 09/13. I also will meet my new neurosurgeon. Do I know how to party or what :smokin:
Tig give me a category and I will tell you one!

I know right?!
I am getting a firetruck on his cake this year :smokin:
and no the irony is not lost on me.;)

I was thinking about everyone this morning. Particularly about all the life changes that this group of people have been through in the 5+ yrs I have "known" you. It is crazy to think about some times. I have only met a few IRL, but this thread (and other boards and FB) literally document our lives. Marriages, divorces, babies, death, moves, jobs, illnesses, celebrations. It's all here. Kind of like it's own living breathing entity. Crazy.

Glad to "know" you and be part of it.

Wow. Can't believe he is 5. And I know for a fact that you know how to party! :dancer::rockband:

Just finished my first week at my new job. So much fun! I am the front office clerk (secretary/receptionist) at my DD's middle school. I have been around the school as a parent/active PTA VP for the last 4 years so most of the staff already know me and I have spent so much time there I feel right at home. We start school on Tuesday so I am nervous about how crazy the first week will be but looking forward to it.

We did end up going to Baltimore for a few days and had a good time. The Science Museum was AWESOME! The Aquarium was a bit of a disappointment, partly because it was just so jam packed full of people and was not very handicapped friendly. Very difficult to get around with my scooter. We had beautiful weather. Would love to go back with DH and stay in the Inner Harbor.

So very true MF, so very true. We have been through so much together over the years. :grouphug: I can't believe its been 5 years Angel! That's crazy!

Having my husband home was just wonderful. We had a great time in Disney. We stayed at Saratoga and kicked back. Took it easy at the parks, had some great meals and had a lot of fun. It was just so nice to have him around. Makes me miss him even more now though.

But, it looks like he may be home for good soon. It looks like he'll be getting an engineering job that could start as soon as Oct. 1st. He's so thrilled as it's a job he's wanted for years now. It's still in Florida but we'll have to move over to the Orlando area. I'm torn on that part because I just love it over here where I am and I've met some great friends. Hard to start over some times.
So in the next few weeks I'll be traveling back and forth scouting out areas and neighborhoods. We plan to rent a house this time around instead of an apartment. I'm hoping to find one with a pool. :scratchin

Heading back up north in a few weeks for my nephews wedding. Flying though this time as time is limited. But I get to see my babykins Marshall. Once that baby gets in my arms I'm not letting go!! I'll get some new pictures and post them. He's just the cutest thing ever!!

Tig give me a category and I will tell you one!

Category for what? Is this like Jeopardy? If so, Angel, I'd like Sex for 100. And 200. And 300. And.... ;)

Wow, 5 years! How the years have passed. Sometimes the days drag, but the years are quite the opposite.

4's, Marshall is adorable! Love the FB pics you've posted. How old is he now?

Scrappy, hard to imagine how a public place like the aquarium wouldn't have to be more handicapped accessible. Bummer. Glad you enjoyed the rest of the trip.

WDW was wonderful and now I want to go back. Very hard to stay away, but it will be awhile before I can swing going back. Might be able to plan a trip to Universal in the not so distant future. I need something to plan!

I'm officially back in school. Let's see how it goes this time. :rotfl:

Been sick with flu symptoms....not sure it's actually the flu, but the high fever, body aches, chest cough, etc, sure were making me miserable. I'm a bit better today, but being evening the fever is returning a bit.

On that note, after a coughing fit, I will post this. :faint:

Ugh, hope you feel better quick. I know a few people diagnosed with bronchitis lately so get to the dr if the cough doesn't let up.

The aquarium is fully accessible, it is just not handicapped friendly! Sure they have it so that I could conceivably get to everything but there is a 25ish page booklet they give you when you go in with pages of maps and instructions to show the routes you have to take which involves doubling back, using multiple elevators, going against the flow of traffic and other things that were difficult, if not impossible in an overly crowded space--it was wall to wall people and they actually control the number people allowed in. Displays were hard to see because of the crowds that were blocking my view and lots of obstructions that made transitioning from one display to the next difficult. In fact my eye started twitching from the stress about half way through and didn't stop until we got to my inlaws that evening. At $30 per person admission it was very disappointing.

Back from our annual Back to School Shopping Trip (Part 1). The high school doesn't release their schedules until the first day of school so we have to go buy those supplies next weekend. Today we got all the middle school stuff, things that I needed, new shoes for the girls and some new clothes.

I plan to go get checked out tomorrow if my cough is still bad. Fever went higher tonight than earlier....not almost 103 like yesterday, but around 101. My temp usually runs low, too. I hate being sick!

Perfectly said! :grouphug:

We sure are quite a group of women who bonded and shared some wild times, both good and not-so-good. Cool that so many of us have stayed in touch in one way or another.

All of you hold a special place in my heart.
