I'm here, quick talk to me so I don't have to entertain the kidlets.

Angel-
I have no true idea what we have planned today. It's one of those days where I want to do something and DH has rolled his eyes at my suggestions :confused3 . I thought we had a soccer game but because its a holiday weekend, nope. I know I'm going for the mother of the year award because I'm returning the birthday present my two year got me. "Bring it on 3- All or Nothing" is going back to the store today. DH paid $25 for the DVD and I don't want to encourage the unhealthy obcession Breck has with cheerleaders :cheer2: I love the idea that DH took the boys shopping, but lets not let them have the run of the store to pick out my gift :lmao: .

Sounds like you do have a plan then, bring it on 3 was needed though, the first and second one left so many unanswered questions :rotfl:

The movie is kind of funny because we have neighbors that have three girls that range in age from 13 done to 7 and they asked what I got and I showed them it and they begged to borrow it for a Girl's Night. So I guess it hit its target market, I however am not that market :rotfl2: . I explained to DH that the way that letting the boys pick out a gift for me goes is you give them a choice between two or three items at the most. I should count my blessing though because Zack wanted to purchase the industrial vant of marniated mushrooms from Costco. If a 10 lb jug of mushrooms doesnt say, "Happy 29th Birthday, Mom"- I dont know what does.
You are headed to a benefit, right? Is it a lunch thing or something else?

The marinated mushrooms is the gift that just keeps giving :lmao: :lmao:
My youngest DD was in competetive cheer for many years and I assisted with coaching so yes we own all three, it was fun but alot of work.
Its a block party with food, bands and a silent auction.
DH has night shift so he can't go so its just Rebecca and I. I don't get to see her Mom as much as I would like to since this whole thing started so I am really looking forward to seeing her and the gang

Angel-
That sounds like a very fun day.
Breck drives me nuts with the cheerleading thing. When he was just a little thing, we had to record the ESPN cheerleading events because it was the only thing that would calm him down. Worked like a charm. Some parents have Baby Einstein, we had cheerleading events. He is still that way, we go to a sporting event and he's glued to the cheerleaders. Maybe its the short skirts!

Oy, it's 10:30 and I STILL am working on the waffles. Needed to turn on the computer to find my recipe so I popped in here.

Brunch anyone? :confused3

I am back from the bar! :yay:

Angel, have fun at the bene. It sounds like a great cause. :thumbsup2

Bring it on 3 and Marinated Mushrooms!! :lmao: :lmao: Is it wrong that I wish they had gotten you the mushrooms so you could have started a thread about it? :teeth:

I am going to pack today. I hope my mother takes the kids to the lake. That way I can get some packing done and then go out before they get home. :rolleyes1

I think you have a ladies man on your hands Kate!! ;)
Hey Tricia, I would live waflles!! uh oh, now I am cyver eating as well

Good afternoon everyone. Well I survived Tropical Depression Ernesto last night. My friend and I went shopping, went to both Targets in our area, got me a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, very disappointed, and then on to BJ's. The Latte just wasn't Pumpkin Spice enough and they didn't have the muffin. How hard is it to follow a recipe. It seems that every time I go to that Starbucks the drink is not the same. I usually get a Caramel Frappacino and each time it is differant. :sad2: But it did give me a nice caffeine boost, I could have done backflips down the aisles. :Pinkbounc

The weather was pretty nasty last night, really rainy and windy and I was wearing flip flops, which I nearly lost when running through a puddle in front of BJ's. They are a velvety black material and when I stepped into the puddle they became really slippery and I nearly came right out of them. When I got home I had to take them off and run to the house with no shoes on.

T&B- Both of our Targets had blow up mattress on clearance for $9.98, they were in the area where the furniture is.

Snow- My friends 11 yo son is starting to go through puberty and last night she said something about he and his older, almost 13 yo brother thinking she was stupid.

The 11 yo was being a butt at Target last night and I told him to come to me, he wouldn't so I told him I would chase him down and kiss him. He still wouldn't so I waited until he wasn't paying attention to me, grabbed him and laid one on his cheek. Unfortunately there weren't any other pre-teens around at the time. :stir:
