Happy Weekend! Things are going just swimmely here (okay truth be known I have always wanted to use that smilie and couldn't work it into conversation).
After yesterday's adventure in family relationships, I made DH go buy me a new pair of shoes. Yes, it was a bribe and No, I don't feel guilty about it. I told him that after the &^*& (you decide which four letter word to insert here, I love to make my posts interactive ) I was put through he owned me.

I still feel pretty crappy, but not as bad. The glands in my neck are so swollen, my throat is sore, and I'm very tired. We're packing up here and will drive home today, so at least I just have to sit in the car today.

Morning all. My sister does this every darn time! She asks me if I can dog sit for the day when they go to the waterpark or to Busch Gardens when they are going to be gone all day and Petey loves her dog so I enthusiastically say yes. Then I get up early for them to drop her off and they never show. They change their minds or forget or whatever. I don't get it. Poor Petey was looking forward to a nice long walk and a romp in the backyard. Not today little buddy.

Hi all! We went to WDW today visiting MGM, Epcot and the ESPN Club on the Boardwalk. Florida is sooooo hot in August. YUCK.

OK, there are some names that you need to spell out and Briarmom is one of them...or call her BOMB. At least don't say "Hi" to BM and then say you are going to be catching her, especially not when I'm in my loopy mood.

We got back home safely. Took a little while, but only because we made some stops since my DH had to do all the driving. No traffic, so that was good. I still feel lousy, so that's not good--weak, very swollen neck glands, sore throat.

Shug, I don't blame you for not being happy with your sister! Why does she do that? BTW, we love Water Country USA and every water park we visit is now compared to that one. The kids and I really want to go back this summer, but don't know that we can squeeze a trip in. Maybe next summer and maybe then Jake will have had a huge growing spurt and can go on Apollo's Chariot at Busch Gardens (not my favorite park, but we'll go back when Jake is tall enough to ride everything).

Angel, yes, pics of the kitten!!! Don't tell me you named it Ricky! How did the party go?

Jasmine, I bet it was hot, but it is hard to feel sorry for you since you can also go when it's a mild day in the late fall, too. The hot weather wears a person out, though.
