I know I haven't been around much lately, but if you're so inclined to pray or send good wishes, I'd greatly appreciate it. Dh has been in London on business since last Saturday and is scheduled to fly out of Heathrow today. I got a call from him before I even saw the news about the potential attacks, and he said although things are absolutely crazy there right now, the people of the UK have been incredibly kind and helpful. He's not sure when he'll be home, although the delay is not supposed to be too bad, but as long as he's safe, that's just fine with me.

What a horrible, terrible tragedy this could have been, and I'm eternally grateful to those who stopped it.

Wow, luv, that is so scary! I'm SO glad the terrorist attack was foiled. Especially now that I know your DH was scheduled to fly today. I'm glad he is safe. I hope he gets home to you very soon. I would think that the flights now would be extra safe, since everyone is going to be extra suspicious.

BTW, that is one handsome son you have in your siggy!

I should probably turn off the news becasue the more I hear about the grand scale of what was supposed to happen, the more PO'd I get at these POS who want to harm innocent human life.

Dave works for the Federal Gov't in the DOE, so he said that they have some of their people working to get him and those he's traveling with secured seats on alternative flights if they're available. I know it's not fair to those who don't have others looking out for them, but I am beyond grateful that he does. I hope *everyone* stays safe and well.

Thanks for the comment about Chris, Bb--it will make his head even bigger than it is already. I hope he doesn't hear anything about this in school. I had one friend who died on Sept. 11, and two who were injured, so he knows all about this terrorism stuff and the horrible things that can happen. I do agree, though, that the flights out now couldn't possibly be any safer with all the extra precautions that will be taken.

I hope everyone is doing alright. I have had a day from ........ (lets just say that the hills are not alive with the sound of music around here). Please don't get me wrong with everything going on in the world today, my pathetic little rant is not worth the page space but still I'm just frustrated.

It's great to see you ladies. I got my meatloaf in the oven and now I'm killing time until it's time for the mashed potatoes.

Kate: I start my new job on the 21st. Not looking forward to working again. Not sure how I'll like teaching pre-K after teaching Kindergarten.
