Good Morning Sunshines :sunny:

Sorry I missed your birthday DM3 :guilty:

Good morning! It's another glorious day here in New Cowhampshire! Love that cow picture!!

Aimee- Hope your dad is doing better today!

DM3- Happy belated birthday! party:
I haven't met my FDIL because she lives in Germany. That's where my DS was stationed before he left for Afg. She lives about 20 minutes from where he was stationed and they met at a club. She speaks like 3 or 4 different languages. They've been together for a little over 2 years now. So with him being there and her in Germany that's why I'm doing the whole wedding. They will basically show up and everything is ready to go. She'll be flying in about 2 weeks prior to the wedding. We've talked on the phone and IM and Email so we know her somewhat.

Froggy - GROSS!!!!!!!

So whats everybody got on tap for today?

Morning, all :)

Happy Happy one day late, Julie! :cake: :bday: party:
Chuck, I was trying to guess what the steak and shrimp place on PB was. I'm guessing (in this order)

1) Flounder's
2) Hemingway's
3) Peg Leg Pete's

How did I do?

Good morning!

Nothing much on tap today. I need to get Jake to camp. Ben has his internship, but I probably don't have to get him there, but will mean I will be the pick up person (rush hour traffic--yuck). He's learning how to use a lot of computer graphics programs and is designing a website, and also clothing for a company that makes custom motorcycle racing clothes. Also designing tags and labels. He's not into the motorcycle end of things, but it's an interesting market for sure. The website is http://www.agvsports.com/ in case anyone is into motorcycles.

Mainly doing the stuff around the house that I didn't get done yesterday since I was out doing other stuff. :)

Hopefully you all have more fun days planned.

Morning Ladies and Gents :sunny: :wave2:

its the one down by hooters :teeth: if that helps ya out some LB, it was damaged some by the storms 2years ago, and when it re-opened it was twice as good than before :smokin:

I have nothing fun planned for today (wish I did). More of the same, wedding stuff, clean out the camper (still haven't done that), vacuum the pool, clean the house, find a pet sitter, make my ADR's, oh yeah...write that letter to the IRS

I haven't seen my son online and he hasn't called for a couple of days (he calls almost daily), they must be in a blackout, which means something is going on. <sigh>

Doesn't the army know I need answers and its a very inconvenient time to shut them down! LOL

4's, that must drive you crazy!

I forgot, I need to bring my 18yo DD to the oral surgeon for a consult on having her wisdom teeth out. I should start another thread, and might do so after talking with him, but is it normal now days for them to do general for wisdom teeth removal? When I had two impacted ones removed when I was in high school, I wasn't under general and it wasn't a problem. I don't know if hers are impacted (I looked at the X-rays and I'd guess that 2 are and 2 aren't, but I'm not a dentist). Alyssa said that she hates even having her teeth polished and doesn't know how she'll handle having the wisdom teeth out.   To say that I thought she is a big baby would be a BIG understatement. Please! And what an adult she is! Why am I getting started when I haven't even had my second cup of coffee? :rotfl2:

I had a broken tooth I needed removed. I told them I was a big baby and wanted to be put out. They had no problem doing so. My regular dentist couldn't do it so they sent me to the oral surgeon. I think they do what is comfortable for the patient (plus they make more money that way ;) )

For me when I went for the first visit so he could look at the tooth in question he said I still had 2 wisdom teeth left and did I want them taken out as long as I was under. I said sure, why not.

That ended up working out real good because my dental insurance wouldn't cover me being put out but my medical insurance covered the wisdom teeth extraction, hence being put out!

Just tell them, I'm sure they'll accomandate you.

Well, down by Hooters sounds like Hemingway's, although it could also be Flounder's. Damaged by the storms pretty much describes every building and business on the beach. I guess I'll revise my list to put Hemingway's in the #1 slot, and Flounder's #2.

Morning!

I have a half hour before a meeting starts, so I thought I'd swing in and say 'hi'.

Morning all!

Hey T&B, I was thinking of you just now. I listen to sports radio (yeah, I love sports and I'm a girl), and they had a commercial for a "Hometown Heroes" thingy. (you can vote for the best player for each team). Well, anyway, the commercial is Cal Ripken Jr. pretending to be a woman telling people to vote for Cal. The "woman" recites his stats, and then "she" slips and says "and then there's my dreamy blue eyes!". Everytime I hear it, I laugh out loud & think of your "date" on the date to the ball thread!

Good thing I haven't heard that commercial. Can you imagine me laughing out loud and needing to explain to my family why I'm laughing? :rotfl2:

Speaking of having crushes on baseball players, one of our family jokes is about me having a crush on Mike Bordick sp?) who used to play on the Orioles. But the funny thing is the reason I used to admire him (and not have a crush on him at all) is because one time I heard him talk about his family and he obviously was so crazy about his wife and kids, which was so sweet. After that interview I really started admiring him for his views on family. My son, Zach, thought I had a crush on him and every time he was up to bat would call me in to watch him. :rotfl: I tried to explain why I liked him, but it did no good, so finally I just started playing along. Even now if his name comes up in conversation Zach will say, "Mom, Miike Bordick... ". :rotfl2: And that's kind of how the who Cal thing started--with his strong work ethic he became such an idol, but it's easy to lust after those eyes. :teeth:

Hi GD! Sounds like I'm cussing when I say hi to you. :lmao:

I'll have to ask them if there's different insurance coverage if she's under general. When I had my 2 impacted teeth out, not only was I not under, but the dentist was explaining it to someone who I guess was in training. So I got to hear the play by play, which I thought was so interesting and kept me entertained. I've never been one to want to be kept in the dark, even at 17yo. Also, I'm not crazy about any increased risks from the general.

Morning all! Feeling out of sorts today, woke up with a headache, took Ibuprofen and then my stomach decided it didn't like it and I had bad acid reflux. :crazy2:

DM3- Happy belated b-day

Bonnie- I never made fun of your moo cow. I like cows, I even know how to call them. :teeth:

Missy- I can kind of understand why they closed the thread after that person posted about how to get back at someone. :scared1: And some of the stuff he did in college. :confused3

T&B- Big baby here, there is no way in this world I would have teeth removed and not be put to sleep. I have to have a deep cleaning done and I am thinking about asking the dentist if I can be put out, drugged, hit on the head with a hammer, something.

I have a question for the guys on our thread. If you go to the gym and shower there do you walk around the locker room in your birthday suit, no towel, boys just hanging out?
