Aimee, I'm so sorry about your dad. I'm sending up prayers for him.

Thanks for all the warm wishes everyone.

Dad seems to be doing okay. And I'm in a little better state of mind thanks to a xanex.

Now, I probably shouldn't have a glas of wine with said xanex, should I?

Probably not but what the heck, just make sure not to operate heavy machinery afterward. :thumbsup2

If and only if you are going to do some funny posting later. :teeth:

phorsenuf- I'm so impressed with all the work you are putting into this wedding. I think that the 1st of September is plently of time for RSVPs. Hopefully people will actually RSVP instead of leaving you hanging.

Thanks! I actually am having a good time doing it. I figure with having 4 boys this will probably be the only wedding I get to do! LOL
Pretty much everyone we have invited I already know if they are or are not coming so that's helpful. They'll be about 70 and about 50 or more is just immediate family! LOL (We're a big Italian family!)

Hopefully I will heard from the B&G tomorrow with their approval on the invites and cards so I can get those printed. After those are done and sent I can chill on the wedding stuff until after vacation(s). I'm really looking forward to going camping and being a total slug! LOL

Xanax is our friend.

I can pop a xanax and drink three rum and cokes and I'm still standing. :thumbsup2

Just don't drive.

You're such a great Mom! Your new DIL is lucky to have you. I keep telling my DH that we either have another kid, or I'm going do a hostile takeover of one of my boy's weddings (okay not really I don't want to be that kind of MIL).
Where do you camp at? Cabin, tent or RV? I'm not an outdoors girl at all, never been camping in any way shape or form. DH keeps telling me to give it a chance but roughing it for me is no room service :rotfl: .

Ahh....thanks! I can't wait to meet her! Well, maybe you'll end up in the same situation as me and get to do it!

We camp up in Ashalnd NH at Jellystone Park. Yep, we go and hang out with Yogi and the gang. We've been going for about 8 years now and it's a must do every year, even when we have Disney trips planned!
We camp in an old pop-up (and I mean old)! We use it more as a tent on wheels. I don't hook up the water or gas. But it's nice to have at night or during rainy days. I attach a big screenhouse to it and I use those little electric burner and a grill to cook on. I also have a dorm size fridge we bring.
I camped all the time as a kid so I don't mind it, I find it relaxing actually. My mom (stepmom actually but I don't think of her like that) is always reminding me I'm a Marriott girl! LOL
Here's a link to the campground. It's not roughing it by any means!

Aimee, I'm so sorry about your dad. I said a prayer for you and I wish him a speedy recovery.

Hi PMSers!

Got back from the swim awards night. The awards part was a bit ho hum, but the raft night was a lot of fun. Our local pool normally doesn't allow any kind of inflatable, but tonight was a free for all for the swim team families, with no "adult swim" every hour, where the kids have to get out of the pool for 15 minutes, and everyone had a very fun time.

Someone here has a birthday. . . .

Happy Birthday, Disneymom3!!

Hope it's a great day for you!

Happy birthday, DM3!

Sleeping With The Enemy is on. It's the 'Brown Eyed Girl' part. I love that song.

:woohoo: I see the map, I see the map!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! DS asked me how 37 felt and I said it feels about the same as 36. DH did quite well this year. He got me a gc to a spa/salon and went in with his parents to hire me a professional organizer. Oh man, I cannot tell you how much I need that. (And I had asked for it so it's not like it's insulting. :rotfl: ) We do most of our schooling in the kitchen and it is a constant battle to have it even semi-organized. It just does not come naturally to me and I cannot figure out where to put everything so I am quite excited about that. While the kids are at VBS next week I am using quite a bit of my time to purge junk so I can use my time with the organizer most effectively.
Briar--I like the sound of gold shoes with that dress. I have just realized that my nephews wedding is coming up NEXT Friday and I don't have anything to wear. Yikes!! Don't really want to buy anything dressy in this size since I don't plan to be it for long. What to do?

phors--I think I missed something. Where is your DS that you have not yet met the fiance?
