Sorry about the long delayed reply. My computer freaked out on me.

I am doing okay. Up and down. And all around. My sister's are very pissed at our BIL who SHOULD be our ex-BIL. Bleepity bleeping bleep would not come to my sisters house to discuss the divorce with her and she was trying to be civil about it. Then she got way way sicker, dies and BINGO--word I can't say here--inherits everything. I am trying to let go of that. Not quite holding on to jolly around here but I'm giving it my best.

We did go out tonight and look at Christmas lights and listen to Christmas music. Tomorrow I am going to make my kids get their school work done before we leave for the funeral. What a mean mom.....Tues and Weds will be school, Thurs day off and making cookies etc and Fri we go to a play at the Children's Theatre.

Trying to figure out a day I can have my niece and nephews over for a Christmas celebration since theirs is a little thrown off this year.

good evening everyone! The girls had their last show of the season tonight at the zoo. I love watching them perform! It puts some jolly back in me! It did dmake me think of my Mom though and how much she enjoyed watching them. Brought a few tears to my eyes, but not too bad.

I am off to bed. Merle is of course snoring on my couch, well the chair cause I am on the couch...but same old same old with that girl!

I am good, tired, longggg day! Might have to eat some more cookies before going up stairs! Some of them are pretty good...mine being the best of course! This one poor woman, hers were burnt and she filled in with some store bought boxed ones. The kids will eat them though.

And my gifts were mailed out. Robin, I put in Molly's package, the Aurora dress and crown. Hopefully the crown makes it there. I think I packed them in a bag, inside the box. Her gift is wrapped. Z decided she couldn't stand it anymore, so she poked a few holes in the top for ya. I didn't feel like rewrapping it. OH and I taped something down on the top of the gift and had to use a lot of tape, so it looks crappy really, but didn't want it broken. But, at least you know the story behind that mess!

Sorry to hear that. they are good!!

I got sent home from work early the other day. So I made a bunch then, I ended up bringing them into work. Well, the guys ate them all.

So I said I would make some more, and then my kids asked me to make them for their holiday parties at school, I make them for my guests on Christmas, a few friends are getting some.....

Oh my, I just realized

I have to make about 300 chocolated dipped pretzel rods.

I guess I should start melting that chocolate.

I wanted to tell ya all that the whole package thing sort of went by the wayside this week. I know that you will all understand. I will do my best to get the shopping done by Tues and get them in the mail quick as a bunny.

Sister's funeral is tomorrow afternoon.

Of course we understand. Your family needs you right now.

Thing 2 just walked in with the phone book and told me I had to sign that contract.

On the way to the movies yesterday it was so windy, and he was saying he had to be strong to walk in that wind, so it was good he drank his milk. Then he said, "It's a good thing I'm not lactose intolerant so I can be strong."

That kid cracks me up.

And I haven't gotten any gifts here yet, am I the only one? I assume I have two packages coming this way, for me and one child and then the other child from another person?

I haven't received ours yet either. Hopefully the will come by Wednesday or we'll have goodies when we get back from California! I mailed mine yesterday and unfortunatly I'm not sure if they will get there in time or not. I feel like a heel.

3P, guess what? Patrick got his box today. YEP, the USPS delivered it today, Sunday! Weird, huh!

That is really weird. Seems like I remember getting mail one Sunday close to Christmas once before. Maybe they work extra days this close because of the huge amount of stuff being shipped.

I hope he likes his gift. I had a really hard time convincing Abby that she couldn't keep it.

I love kids. I had a problem tearing her gift away from Molly, so I had to hide it until I was ready to wrap it, then I had to immediately box it up to keep her from unwrapping it. I suppose I should have bought doubles of my exchange gifts, because my girls sure did want to keep the things we picked out.

Paige, I just wrapped about 8 gifts and got tired..I don't know how you did that many without giving up!!!

Caro, DD11 has been bugging me for a cell phone.
she saw that Verizon commerical where the girl gets a pony instead of a cell phone. So she tells me she wants a pony. I told her she's not getting the phone, but Butterscotch might show up under the tree!!! Now i am going to see if I can get that happy meal toy by christmas.
(and I already have a box ready for your pretzels!)

My husband said the day that he knew he was in love with me was when he walked in my kitchen and saw me dipping pretzels in chocolate. He says he knew that any woman who would make their own chocolate covered pretzels was worth keeping.
