Oh, I am so sorry Paige! I thought they were ony there for the weekend.

Scrappy, I missed it before...did something happen to your mom?

Tig, her mama is sick, with the mouth/butt virus. You know, where everything from your insides won't stay in! :scared:

WooHoo Merle on the Wii! It is in a white box, shows the system and controls, etc, right??? Before I go telling these people I have it in my hands, I need to make double sure!

DANG, did Merle go to bed already!?? I want to send that lady an email right now to tell her I have it. UGH!

I didn't get any email about facebook. Maybe I'm not on the list.

Angel, I'm so happy about Erica. You know how much I was pulling for you with her.

Good evening everyone. So far tonight with the parents we have covered how on Earth I can possibly afford these trips, why my child is hopelessly behind in Kindergarten and how on earth a TEACHER could allow this and not catch him up......and some wonderful materials have been brought to me to aid me in this plan, since obviously I just must not be trying hard enough, we have discussed that their new carpet is a darker color so it won't show dirt as easily as mine does, that my mantel is crowded and not decorated well, that the soup was delicious and when I pointed out dh made that the comment was "of course", that I won't lose weight with all these cokes in the house and have I SEEN the pics of my SIL who lost 150 lbs? She looks FABULOUS......., that the trees my dad sent can't be killed by him no matter what he does, so we must not have watered them for them to die here, despite us assuring him we did, that our tree looks all right for an artificial tree if you really are too lazy to get a real one, that it's just too bad my kids have to grow up never seeing the stars outside, and that my giving my child a peanut butter sandwich instead of soup at dinner is going to turn him into a criminal because somehow or other it translates into him not being able to wait to buy things when he gets the money for them. :confused3
and you still don't say shut the hell up? ;)

Had Kathryn at the ER tonight. She is the proud owner of 5 stitches in her chin! She was at practice today for her Show Biz Kids group, was twirling and tripped on a boa. Got a good gash on her chin. The stitches will stay in until Friday. She's going to look cute tomorrow performing her show with a big band-aid on her chin.

Oh Caro. Jeez. With Kids it is always something isn't it!

I guess I should head to bed. I have been catching up with Survivor tonight. I have the whole season up to know DVR'd and hadn't had time to watch it. I was waiting until I got really bored!

Poor DH is still sleeping up on the couch in his office room. He is coughing so bad I can hear him down here. This cold has been going on for over a week now and he is still miserable. And you know what? Even HE said he would have driven the 3 hours today in the condition he was in to pick up my step father from the hospital!

I need to by my Sister's Christmas gift but I am not in the mood to be very Christmasy with her anymore. Anyone know where I can buy a load of coal to be delivered to her?

What's the reason sister gave? Perhaps she thinks Dad will be better off in the hospital than home with sick mom and son? Just guessing. :confused3

Angel, not quite yet........soon. :thumbsup2 I did say SIL did it with surgery and that does not impress me.

So outside of one of you (they know who they are) none of you like facebook? :sad1:

I am on facebook :)

Feeling sad this evening....but did have fun tonight. HOC is out of the picture..he was just a substitute anyway. :(

Don't feel sad about anything love. You are so beautiful you shouldn't feel sad never, ever, ever!! :thumbsup2

Good morning! I'm off to the airport in a little while. Had a great day yesterday...rode Everest several times, met people in AK and MGM for a hidden Mickey event (including the guy who wrote the hidden Mickey book) and rode Tower of Terror LOTS of times. The employees were amused by us for sure and one time one of them met us when we were getting off the ride and brought us back up the chicken elevator so we could ride again. Rode 15 times yesterday, bringing my grand total to 54. Never will I ever beat that record.

Sorry your son is sick, Bomb. Someone is back to Angel, but I didn't read back far enough to find out what's going on. Debbie is having cat sleeping issues. Kelly, I never found what you wanted me to get. Checked at the DD toy store several times, along with stores in the parks that had that sort of thing, but they didn't have that one. I'll check the airport store, too.
Thanks for looking!!!

I just ordered the dh a leg lamp.:lmao: :lmao:
:lmao: :lmao: I'm sure he'll love it!!!

Yah Teva, we called Rebecca to tell her and she started crying, which made me cry more, poor M had to pull an intervention and tell her to go back to helping at her friends little sis's party and then he parked me in front of the tv with all of the pups to watch Santa Clause 2.
He knows me so well :thumbsup2
 I'm glad to hear the puppy got home safe.

Can someone tell me about the Guitar Hero games? I know nothing about it? I have no idea what to get DH. He isn't huge on video games but he has an XBox. He just started playing guitar a few months ago and bought an electric guitar. He is just a bare bones beginner. Would he be likely to enjoy this game? What do you do? Would my girls like it? How do I decide between 1, 2 or 3?

Hey Scraps! My kids (and DH) absolutely love GH. We have both 1 and 2 and GH3 will be under the tree Christmas morning. I have heard really good things about the XBox version. Just be sure to buy the guitar controller that goes with it. Basically, the screen will show colored "buttons" that coincide with particular notes. The player has to hit the corresponding button on the controller at the right time. Has several different levels of play and the songs are pretty good. However, be prepared that you may have little ones running through the house singing "I love Rock and Roll" and "I want to be sedated." ;)
Guitar Hero is pretty popular around here. The one thing I did notice, if someone actually plays an electric guitar, they don't seem to care for the video version.:confused3

I got the XBOX 360 version, because DH's friend(a total tech geek) said it's the best one. I have no idea why.. I didn't ask that, I just bought it.

Dh just came up and handed me a box and said I could wrap it. It was Ugg slippers for him. I already bought him some.
