Hey Nutty. I'm sure you have had a good time.

Back from the gingerbread house party. Neat party...about 20 five year olds making gingerbread houses. The hostess supplied the blank houses, candy and icing and all the girls (with the moms' help) decorated the house and took it home. The girls had a blast and the moms got to talk a little.

Finished cleaning/rearranging the living room and the tree is up (in it's stand) but not decorated. I'll put the lights on after the kids go to sleep. Then tomorrow they can help with the orniments.

Called for pizza and took the kids upstairs so that DH could veg again.

Hey! Did I tell you all that DD has started singing the Boom Chicka wa wa song all the time? I want to know how she learned it.

Well all, went out to JoAnn fabrics What in the hell was I thinking, took me almost 25 minutes to get there when it normally takes less than 15. There were so many cars going in and out of the shopping center it was like rush hour traffic. The store wasn't bad, they had every cashier working and it didn't take me long to get what I needed and get out.

I didn't get a chance to really look at all the sale stuff, my cousin was coming to drop off stuff at 4:30 so I had to get back home. She just showed up 10 minutes ago. She was getting a manicure and the place took three hours.

Now I am headed out again, going to a football game. It is the same organization my middle godson plays JV for, the Varsity team is in the league championship tonight. Got to go, see you all later.

2 days. That is all I asked of my sister. 2 days to take care of HER parents and brother when they need her. Just so our mom can rest--so she doesn't end up in the hospital. I didn't think I was asking too much.

I think I am confused here. Looking at all your posts, where does your sister live and where does your mother live? The first post you said 3 hours apart from each other...if that is the case, YES, she can drop everything and go deal with them. But then the other post, you said the sister lives all the way in Illinois, three hours from the airport and then a flight here (assuming your mother lives here). That is a lot of travel time and money to come stay a day. So, that is why I felt she shouldn't come all the way out here, just to drive her father home from the hospital. What have I screwed up in this story??

I'm off to the play. I hope I don't fall asleep. I think that the lack of sleep started catching up with me last night--I think I fell asleep before my head hit the pillow. After the play it's Hanukkah presents for the kids...they are getting the Wii tonight, which means that Zach won't be happy since he doesn't want it.

Scrappy - Myster has guitar hero and rock band (he and my nephew are playing rock band right now. One on drums, one on bass). I think your DH and kids would like both but for a family game they could all join in at once with rock band, you too! I'm also thinking if your dh is trying to learn to play guitar for real then playing a "fake" guitar might hinder that. Just our 2 cents.

Mom lives in Central Illinois

Sister lives about 3 hours away from Mom outide of St. Louis.

I live . . . well you know where I live! I was talking about me having the long drive or flight to go and help out if I could.

I am guessing I probably didn't explain it well and that is why you were confused.

Well, there are many tears and much naughtiness in my house...the kids are cranky too.

The Boy is being punished for not having his listening ears on...the spider man is up high. He said I'm "breaking his heart". He's also furious and throwing things around. ugh!

So we picked up Er so she could die Rebeccas hair. Went out for lunch and had a nice day in general. Rebeccas in bed as she wasn't feeling hot and once Er and I are were done at xmart, I dropped her off at her place (have I mentioned shes doing well, my christmas wish come true ) I decided I would go to the gorcery store and make a lasagna for M. How did I forget how time consuming they are?
Another one that watches NO Tv, sorry, but I watch an obsene amount of Chrismas movies!
