Good morning.

Busy day today, a birthday party at 1pm and a Christmas party at 6pm. Last night was our local Christmas parade. My dd's house is along the parade route so it's not too bad, we can go in and thaw out for a while if it gets too cold. Plus she had hot chocolate with butterscotch schnapps. Almost as good as Threep's jello shots!

So we picked up Er so she could die Rebeccas hair. Went out for lunch and had a nice day in general. Rebeccas in bed as she wasn't feeling hot and once Er and I are were done at xmart, I dropped her off at her place (have I mentioned shes doing well, my christmas wish come true ) I decided I would go to the gorcery store and make a lasagna for M. How did I forget how time consuming they are?
Another one that watches NO Tv, sorry, but I watch an obsene amount of Chrismas movies!

Good morning.

I just read an article that creeped me out. Scientists made robotic roaches that convinced real roaches to congregate in an unnatural, unsafe area. Sounds like a good idea right?

Well, these little robot roaches are out of scientist control, completely adaptable. And 4 out of the 10 trials, they were convinced to follow the real roaches and do what they were doing instead.

Now the scientists want to try it with dogs, monkeys, and I forget what else. I'm just SLIGHTLY by the idea of out of direct control robot monkeys and dogs! Not to mention the robot roaches scurrying around!

I just remembered I had a DIS dream last night!
I dreamed I erased my tags. I had decided I'd had them long enough and erased them. What does this mean? Does it mean I am about to have a fresh start in my life this coming year , or is it just a result of spending too much time here?

Yes. I think you're right. This year my 'resolution' is to say no to things that make me feel like less of a person, or require me giving too much without any return on making me a better person...
Well, I didn't word that very well, but what I mean is, if I don't want to do it, and it isn't NECESSARY to do it (cleaning toilets is necessary..) I am not doing it. Does that make sense?

There was a woman on Oprah this week (she wrote my favorite book I've read this year) said of herself 'I am my best self when I have LESS on my plate.' That is where I'm at.

Church this morning, then into Seattle to Seattle Center (where the Space Needle is) for the girls show. Just hoping Kathryn's chin didn't bruise up.
Then we'll probabaly have an early dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory! MMMM!!!
ETA: Kathryn just got up. No bruising, but a bit swollen and she says it hurts.

hi everyone...didnt go to the science museum yesterday, I just didnt feel like it and the 12yo had gone to a lock in at the church on Friday night and they only slept from 5:30-7:30 . We did go to the boat christmas parade. it was really neat they decorate boats with lights and parade them down the back up the river. There was one with a dancing and singing Elvis, one that was a houseboat that had been wrapped in brown paper and decorated like a gingerbread house but my favorite was Christmas Luau, with pink light up flamingoes , palm trees, and some Jimmy Buffet Christmas music playing. It was warm outside and we went down to the River Park to sit. Jaw didnt go, it was just me and the girls
