Bomb is not sure she is doing Christmas cards this year. I just want a tree! That would really help me!

DD can't keep any water down. She is miserable.

I got a chance to talk to my MIL with nobody else home finally. I think it was good for her to be able to get some stuff out.

Well, I am just so happy right now. A few days ago, we found out that our old squadron had started collecting money for our friend James to take his boys to Disney. They, of course, wanted to do something for him after Tamara's death and thought this would be a nice getaway for them. Well, DH and I had been feeling badly since we couldn't make the services and DH and James were very close. DH has wanted to do something to help Jackie (James), but what are you going to do in this situation? You know? So, we were lucky enough to use our DVC to book Jackie and the boys for April vacation.

I know that nothing can ease their pain, but I am hoping that this trip gives them some happiness in such an awful time. Dh and I feel blessed that we were able to help.

You know...there are days that go by and I wonder if I have made any sort of positive energy change in the world. Today, I feel like I have made a difference for someone in need and that feels really good.

I am certainly not looking for a pat on the back...I just wanted to share how amazing this feels.

Ive been reading all of the delswife stories.....i wanna go to disney with them FOR REAL

See what I mean! I couldn't belive I missed meeting them by ONE day this year. I seriously considered changing my plans, if it hadn't been Halloween!

IT's a no go on the job. 5 frekin interviews! They offered me $x and I wanted $y, but we wre only a couple thousand apart. So then they said, the very next day, they would want me to share time in Long Island! No WAY!

They tell me that AFTER the 5 interviews.

That beyond Sucks. That stinky sucks.

But at least you found out before you started working there. The job that moved us here--waited until we were here and bought our house. 3 weeks AFTER we closed on the house they "reminded" DH that they were transfering the entire department to INDIANA within a year. Except they had never told him that in the first place. They were paying our moving expenses and closing costs etc... You would have thought it would have crossed their minds to fill in that little tidbit of informatin BEFORE they let us close on a house we would presumably need to sell 6-9 mo. later.

Needless to say, we did not move to Indiana and DH began a new job search immediately.
