As long as it's a time that ends in "K" on a day that ends in "Y" it is ok to drink.

Since it is 9:11 o'clock, on Friday, you are good to go.

Nope. I sometimes crack open a brew around Noon on Saturdays or Sundays (usually dependent on what sporting events are on TV).

3 PM is an okay time to drink on any day.

Well, what I do is start to prep dinner early; Julia Child always drank wine while cooking :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

mmmmmmm first cup of coffee, I slept over this morning too but my kids were up and getting ready and they woke me up to take them to school. Ya know I really cannot complain about my kids. Sure we have the normal attitude they are hormonal girls after all. We also have the I dont wanna do my chores crap but for the most part both of my older ones have really picked up the ball for personal responsiblity since school went back this year and I am so relieved. It sure makes me feel like maybe I have done something right in raising my kids , and it takes a load off knowing they are going to grow up and be all right.

It was 44 degrees this morning when I got up brrrrrrrr.

There is a pic or two of me at the WDW meet in April in the CH. I am not hot in those pics and I am still not hot. I gained while living in Egypt.

:surfweb: morning.

I am outside on my back porch listening to the Podcast and DISing while drinking my coffee.

I really should do stuff around the house, but it is so pretty out here (a tad chilly, but I like it!) I really wanted to go back to bed, but I resisted the urge.

Is MM still here????

Good Morning, my dear friends.

So I got up over an hour late this morning. I realized what time it was and thought, "I'm so surprised DS didn't wake me up before he left for school." He was still sleeping peacefully. It took me 15 minutes to get him out of the car at school.

Him: "I don't feel good. Can't you take me home?"

Me: "NO."

Him: "Aww, come on, Mom. I feel horrible."

Me: "What's wrong with you?"

Him: "I told you, I don't feel good."

Me:  *tapping nails on the steering wheel* "EXACTLY what is wrong?"

Him: "My head hurts and my stomach hurts. I might barf."

Me:  "Valid reasons for staying home: fever, vomiting, bleeding from mucuous membranes. When you throw up on your desk, call me and I'll come get you."

He hates me, and I don't give a rat's ***.

Is he in my class? Because one of mine threw up ON his desk this morning. Grossing out my other kids and nearly starting a chain reaction, except that I quickly sent them next door to the other teacher, grabbed a trash can and moved him over. Kid sank to his knees and I held his head while he heaved and heaved. When he could walk I took him to the nurse where he said he TOLD his mom he was sick this morning. I'm quite sure he wasn't sick at home and she'll feel all kinds of awful when she picks him up. Parenting is one great balancing act................

Oh, and we can't use the bleeding from mucuous membranes in my house. Thing 2 often wakes up having had a bloody nose in the night. This morning was one such morning. He still goes to school.
