Hi guys. Just a quick check in.

Why do you all have odd names?? What if I never had a pet?(I know, what a sad childhood!)

I don't get flu shots either. Had it once though(the flu) and it sucks.

Paige, doesn't the pedi do them? Ours does even though we do have to pay for the shot unless there's a need such as asthma (Zach used to get them paid by insurance when he had asthma).

Hello Teo! Feeling better?

Flu shots! YUCK! I never got one until about 2 years ago. DH started having a nurse come in one day for all of his employees and any spouses. It is free, so I thought why not. So far, so good. All the kids get one now too. It never seemed a big deal when DDs were younger. Our insurance will pay for the kids' but I have to pay the copay for an office visit. Sometimes, if they don't need to go to the doc, it's easier to take them to a shot clinic.

OK, so maybe you're happier on the couch then with the frisbee. And is says she's smart...her brain is busy...



Uh, I had multiple needles in my back today and the lidocaine (the numbing shot) hurt like all getout.

The poor dr doesn't know what to think of me...he was telling me the precautions for after the procedure and said that I can't have a hot bath for 24 hours (that's to decrease the chance of an infection). I asked him if I can take a cold bath. He told me that I could have a shower, either warm or cold, but no baths.

I think her brain is much busier than her body. Or anyone else's for that matter. I don't think there is alot of down time for that brain.

He always runs out. They do the asthma kids first, and Dallas/Ft. Worth being on the top ten list of most polluted cities, we have a lot of asthmatics.

They did report that we will have more flu shots this year than any recent year of record.

I don't know if things are just better this year or what, but we got appt. for the girls for November 7 and 9th. I could have had the week before that, but we are in Disney and not getting them done the night before we leave!

Last year, we got them done in LATE JANUARY!!! So, HUGE difference this year.
