I like the pirates...When my bathroom is done I have to paint and all that fun stuff (they will not be done with installing the tile until next week).

Right now I have a rubber duckie theme...I was thinking of moving to a Mickey theme. It's the kids bathroom, but I use it and guests use it to shower.

I haven't gotten anything yet. I need to get all the orders in and then figure it out. I did get a spreader (shutup Tig ) and an 8x8 baker! Plus I get something else and then $60 free. I will have to see what you and TTof5 ordered and get something different. Definately getting the bread pudding!

Beer bread, whole wheat beer bread, bread pudding, cranberry citrus salsa, ugly cake and sun dried tomato and feta cheese ball. I was going to ge the Morrocan spice thing but when I went to do the order it wasn't on there any more. I guess it changed after the end of Sept.

Morning! I have today and Monday off so I get a nice long 4 day weekend. DH is hiding out at home today too so it looks like we will tackle the living room. We bought new carpet months ago so I guess we will finally put it down! YAY!!!

Good Morning everyone. I got to sleep in because school is out today for teacher inservices.

My 4yo called the cops on me again last night LOL then she told me she loved me " all the way around the back" as in spreading her arms to show me how much.

Kids have a 1/2 day of school here so by the time I finish my coffee, get caught up here and get a shower the 1st one will be home and wanting lunch. For someone that homeschooled and couldn't imagine ever sending them off to school I get awfully cranky now when they tell me they have a day off or a 1/2 day so I have to put up with them.

I am hoping to find something fun for us to do this afternoon since DH is off work at 11 also.

He said he will paint my room tomorrow if I take the kids to the swim meet by myself. Not a problem! I get to take a chair and a book and maybe even my laptop (I need to call about that) and just hang out for 5 hours while he stays here and moves furnature and paints. That was a no brainer deal!

ETA: Just called and they have wireless access at the Y we are going to !!! I can DIS!

Love that! It is so cute! I love bright colors.

I have a bunch of floral stuff I got on clearance for my kid's bathroom (2 girls) but haven't even taken it out of the bags yet. It is on the list of rooms to strip wallpaper and paint in.

LTS, my oldest has been very sick again this week. My BF told me I just needed to home school her since she is missing so much. I quickly told her not unless she plans on visiting me at that pretty white stately house down by the university. (the state loony bin")

I was almost there! And I was going to take them down with me . If she has something chronic that will require her to miss lots of school at least for a period of time you can request "Home Bound" education. That is what Kayla just set up for her DD after I told her about it. With HomeBound the school is responsible for sending a teacher to your house to work with your child at least once a week and to bring all off their work from the teachers and return it to the schools. (may vary by district, they may still require you to get the work and return it). The teacher/tutor will help with anything they are struggling with. And it stops the school from counting them absent. When they are home bound they do not get marked absent from their school, and can return when they are up to it.

she just had a bad case of bronchitis. They are out today for teacher inservices then Monday and Tuesday are their fall break days. With the steroids and everything else she will be fine by Wednesday.

Oh okay, I was thinking that someone else's child here was in school but having some health problems. But then again, I am not really awake yet.
