ugh, does it never end with Alana? Andrew texted me this morning that once again Alana had gotten hold of Andrew's cell phone and was doing God know what with it. It doesn't have games on it, so she wasn't playing those. This has been an on going thing with her. She feels the need to take our cell phones. I have mine with me at all times now so she can't take it. Well, she is now without TV or computer for a month! We have tried so many other things and she just doesn't get it. Punishment seems to have no meaning to her. I just don't understand. If she was 5 or 6, I'd maybe understand. But she is 13! We ask her why she does things and always get the 'I don't know.' That doesn't and hasn't cut it for a long time!

OMG! Every jerk that calls my office (other atty's and claim reps) tries to belittle me and gives Rich the "your secretary said" line of bs, when they don't like what I have to say.


The best thing about going to law school (and there aren't many), is when Rich gets to say to those jack wipes, She's not a secretary. I want to be able to give them the Italian Finger!

They shut right up after that. Jerks. I suffered through that "you're only a..." for years.

I have something to say to you people.

My Teva, you are very special. You give so much to everyone here. You are a calming presence to all of us. Ask anyone here. You are a great friend to all, and the first to give out comfort and hugs. You are nonjudgmental and accepting of everyone no matter their faults. Please give yourself the same courtesy you give us. Accept and love you, because we do.

Amie, everyone who lives there is thrilled to have you nearby. Moving is hard. Of course you feel unsettle. You're bound to have some hard times adjusting. Visit some of the pmsers, get together for lunch, call them up. You are fun and enjoyable and we all love you.

Caropooh, you are a good mom. You have difficult children. Did you ever stop to think of what a disservice it would be to them to be in a home with parents who didn't care or try? Look at what you do for them. Think about how much worse off they would be without you. You do what you can and they are so much better off for your efforts. Praise yourself, you deserve it.

Angel and Shug, look what you have done! You both came through. Sure life still is going on with all its bumps and cracks, but geez, you guys jumped canyons. So if you fall over a crack, go ahead and sit down and cry, and let us help you up. No biggie. We remember the canyon you jumped.

Myst, open up some more, and let more people in your circle. Keep everyone close, but share with them. We all want to listen and share with you.

Yum...beer bread!

That is so good! She told us last night that you can make drop biscuits with this mix as well, if you don't have time to bake the loaf. Just drop the dough onto a cookie sheet and bake 20-25 minutes!

So, what do you all think of a Pirate bathroom? I have found some cute stuff, but it is definately juvenile.

Right now I have a rubber duckie theme...I was thinking of moving to a Mickey theme. It's the kids bathroom, but I use it and guests use it to shower.

I have a Mickey Bathroom, down stairs in the rec room/guest rooom. Walls are a darker red, then my cousin made a mickey sponge by hand then sponged all over the painted wall in a darker red and a light red than the base..like tiny change..you can barely see them. I will go take pictures and post it. I got all my towels and the towel holder, soap pump at the big Disney store in DTD! Shower curtain I had to get on eBay.

Beer bread, whole wheat beer bread, bread pudding, cranberry citrus salsa, ugly cake and sun dried tomato and feta cheese ball. I was going to ge the Morrocan spice thing but when I went to do the order it wasn't on there any more. I guess it changed after the end of Sept.

Yeah that spice is gone. I was going to order pretty much what you did, so will get some different things. The favorite last night, which the consulant said to me before they got here that she didn't like at all....but we all raved about and passed twice..was the Banana Rum cheese ball. YUM! Oh, and the feta cheese one was OK, didn't like it as much I don't think.

So, to make up for my miserable failure at making dinner last night I figured I would make lunch for DD and DH. It was early release day so DD didn't get lunch at school and DH comes home early on Fridays.

I made sausage and waffles. I had enough batter left for 2 more waffle squares for DD7 for snack when she got home. But now she doesn't want them.


Anyone here want them?

no, they are not chocolate waffles. That is what happens when you leave them in for over 30 minutes And yes, that photo was taken outside because the smell was so bad the whole thing had to go out on the porch to even open it.

I think we will order pizza tonight.

Where/why are you meeting?

Her MIL lives close by so we will meet in the middle with the kids and do something. I am planning some activities...child friendly of course. We will hang out all day Saturday. I think we will have a picnic and just relax and talk. Maddi has always been good to me and we have gotten very close in the past year. During wpasadi, the rest of the team called us night shift .We would start in at 10 or 11 PM and work 3-4 hours on our stuff and have it done when the others woke up the next morning. I'll take lots of pics Two members of the evil squadron together..I just hope the camera can handle it and not melt .


Paige, you are very smart with what you said about everybody. You got my category pegged right but I wanna be in "you crack me up" category with MM and Merle. I think Im gonna adopt them to be my sisters. The way they get along remind me so much of my sister and myself. Im sorry the pumpkins were melted when they got there. I thought I had waited long enough to mail them so they would survive. Hey look at it this wayI sent you a rock band " Smashing Pumkins"

Took a nap. I must be getting ready for an auntie visit. I never sleep this much except the days before FLO hangs out. So anyway I wke up and eaet a handful of toosie rolls the vanilla ones. YUMMY

Hi everyone! Love the teacher jokes! I used to be a preschool teacher and a 2 yr old teacher for a number of years so I can relate a lot to the list especially being called Mom!

I have really good news. I finished my scuba certification and DH got the job! So in a few weeks we will be moving to the Clearwater/Tampa area. I am so excited as we plan to get AP's to WDW! I hope everyone has a good day!

Poor scrappy , I have trouble with pizzas in the oven, the last one always comes out looking like charcoal. But most of the time I am able to cook without burning or scorching anything . Its only those darn frozen pizzas.

Well, it was 48 degrees out when I went to work this morning and i don't think it has warmed up much now 6 hours later!
