Hello afternooners.

I think my nap is over, Caro. As to the PJs, I don't know, but that's what everyone says in winter.

I lay down for a bit too.
I've never heard the backwards PJ thing. Huh, weird!
I should start getting ready for work and think what i want for lunch. We get our 4th manager since beginning of May today. He's supposed to be permanent. :sad2:

Caro, here's an article about the PJs... nevermind...the link didn't work

I'm going to go take all of the medication that I forgot to take earlier, which would maybe have something to do with my bad mood. Talk to you all later.

Hi. :wave2: Just got back from Bryan's open house. What a nightmare. I'm really glad we went, because they changed a ton of stuff this year, and I know that the information relay between Bryan and myself on Monday would not have included even half of what we learned to day. For example, the state is offering a new program this year where every child receives breakfast at no charge.

Now, we probably will not take advantage of this, but it has changed the way the scheduling is done in the mornings there, and kids who do not elect to have breakfast have a lot of free time to do other things. This means when I say, "Hey Bryan, can you drop this off at the office before you go to 1st period?" or "Stop by your math teacher's room before school and get help with that problem we couldn't figure out," he can't tell me he doesn't have time. :teeth:

Today is just one more day that I am thankful for my husband, who supports us so that I can be a SAHM and do things like this with my kids. :goodvibes

you are very lucky to have that ability.

you are very lucky to have that ability.

Definitely. It wasn't an easy decision for us to make, because we could definitely use a second income. It's something that's important to both of us, so we scrimp and save and make it work.

We have to do it quietly this time so that it doesn't get hijacked again.

I'm home...what a day:headache: :headache: :headache:

Went to the dentist. Caitlin's teeth are great, but it turns out she is tounge tied...I never knew that was an actual medical condition. There's a flap of skin under her tounge that isn't supposed to be there and is preventing her from lifting her tounge off the floor of her mouth. She has a similar condition on top which may effect her tooth growth. Both will have to be surgically corrected, but we don't know when yet.

Then we went to the Pediatrician's office...the kids were fine right up until the doctor walked in the room then they were nightmares. They lost their "good behavior" treat and Caitlin tantrumed the whole way home.

Whats great about it is we all make choices and are happy with our choices and or lives :grouphug:
