Hi.

Just got back from Bryan's open house. What a nightmare. I'm really glad we went, because they changed a ton of stuff this year, and I know that the information relay between Bryan and myself on Monday would not have included even half of what we learned to day. For example, the state is offering a new program this year where
every child receives breakfast at no charge.
Now, we probably will not take advantage of this, but it has changed the way the scheduling is done in the mornings there, and kids who do not elect to have breakfast have a lot of free time to do other things. This means when I say, "Hey Bryan, can you drop this off at the office before you go to 1st period?" or "Stop by your math teacher's room before school and get help with that problem we couldn't figure out," he can't tell me he doesn't have time.
Today is just one more day that I am thankful for my husband, who supports us so that I can be a SAHM and do things like this with my kids.
