NYC is the mass transit capital of the world! Navigation is possible. ALthough, I remember the drunken states, so don't read the subway map worng! :scared1:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: He is doing the megphone thing from the show and WASABi and never quite let it go!

Remember that a couple people had trouble getting up the hill walking between the restaurant and the hotel. We'd have to stay in the city long enough to sober up. How about staying closeby in NJ? We didn't do that when my family went to NYC awhile back since we'd never been before and wanted to stay in the city, but the next time we'll save the $ and stay there.

Caro, I don't think that the planning has gotten quite that far along. I'm assuming that we'd be going over a weekend so it doesn't conflict with as many work schedules.

Just remember June 17 is Father's Day. If we did it the weekend of June 8-10(and i came) we could celebrate my birthday late.(June 4) I even just checked flights into NYC and I could get RT for 250.00 that weekend.

Hi everybody  I feel punch drunk - I've been up since 3am. Something woke me and I couldn't get back to sleep. Of course did I get up and do anything productive :rolleyes1 .

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm an easy train ride from NYC. Anyone is welcome to drive here leave their car and take the train in. It's actually a heck of a lot easier than driving in and about the same price too.

Hello People :wave2:. too many pages to read back so if I missed anything important would someone please tell me?

Andrew, my 3yr old dgs, woke up at 1am this morning and proceeded to throw up in his mom and dad's bed. As dd was cleaning it up, Andrew was chatting away about Sponge Bob. Dd told Andrew to tell her if he had to throw up again and she would grab the bucket. He said he would bark like this.."woof woof" if he had to throw up then promptly fell asleep.

At 4am she wakes up to Andrew weakly barking beside her. She grabs the bucket and he throws up.

What, may I ask, possesses my family to feel they must bark? :confused3

If I go (which I hope I can) I'll take the train in from Boston. Its about a 3 1/2 - 4 hour ride. Much easier than driving and trying to figure out parking and such. Maybe me and snowy could travel in together.

We stayed at a hotel in Jersey right next to the train station. Very convenient.

I hope Andrew is feeling better.

teva, is the barking question a rhetorical one or should I really give you my opinion. :)

How are you feeling, teva?

I made my mammogram and pelvic ultrasound appts. Figured I'd procrastinated the ultrasound for long enough and the dr was going to come after me if I didn't get in soon (was supposed to not wait any longer than 2 months for the follow-up and it's been almost 3).

Congrats on making your appointments, T&B. Now just make sure you show up! :thumbsup2

One night I kept telling my dh to roll over because he was snoring so badly. The man barked at me and he was sound asleep. Again with the barking. I don't get it. :confused3

I'm feeling okay. Foot still hurts but I'm pretty sure the blood pressure is back to normal.

Glad you made your appointments.

Well, you know teva. They say that there is a little bit of __itch in all of us. Apparently in your family that little bit is the barking part! :rotfl2:

Shug hasn't checked back in has she? I so want to go take her some Chicken Noodle soup, but don't know when she will be home. And DH will home in a bit and if I tried to leave the house he would have a cow!

It does look like Herc has the solution to her poo problems:

Showing up I do without too much of a problem...that doesn't involve the telephone.

Glad you're feeling better...are you still taking your foot meds?

If I get banned, it's been nice knowing you all. The meat thread is going to get me into sooooo much trouble. :scared1:
