Paige, you are a wonderful teacher!
I am very thankful for all of you, too.

I am very thankful for all of you, too.
Me too..........just everything everyone else said.........me too. I can't say much more and keep myself together.
Dreams, dreams and more dreams last night.........choices had to be made of who to save.........not fun........woke with a big time migraine at 4 and it's still lurking. I'm thankful it came in the night so I could get it halfway under control before getting to school.
Knowing how my children would be (and most of you know when I say my children, I'm just as likely to mean my students as my at-home boys).......I have a story for that in fact. Yesterday, the AP came out of the bookroom and was teasing my children. I told him to stop teasing my children. One of the kids said "we're your students".........I said, "my students, my children, my angels".......
Anyway, knowing how they would be today, having heard about our teacher, I got my hair cut yesterday. Small children are fascinated with everyday things involving their teachers. I hoped it would take some of the focus off for them. So the children came in and asked if I was going to the funeral, right off the bat.......which is in the middle of the day........I said, "No, I'm staying right here with you all day." Then they asked if Mrs. F was killed in a car wreck and I said "Yes." Then they asked if I got my hair cut............and we had a 10 minute conversation about hair cuts and colorings, their hair cuts, why did I get it cut, did it look better before or after, where did I go, did I think about coloring it, where their moms go, how their moms do theirs..............and it had its desired effect.
So I am very thankful I thought to cut my hair last night.
Paige, you are an amazing woman.![]()
What a great thing to do Vz. I would have never thought to do that for the kids.
Paige, you are a wonderful teacher!![]()

THE CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
We meet on-line to have a great time....
We laugh and we giggle and smile at our screens,
We sit back and wonder what this all means.
We surf the Web, we travel afar,
We span thousands of mile without a car.
We watch conversations flowing on the screen,
We tell jokes and stories and know what they mean.
What are we looking for? Where's the attraction?
How can we do this and get satisfaction?
Who are we? Why are we here?
We are "the Circle of Friends", made from a chain.
And we're here because friendship is what we gain!
Born on-line formed by few,
We had no idea just what to do.
So we are linking our pages, first one then two,
And wonder where we'll end up when we are through?
The Circle will spread, like a wild vine,
It will breathe and whisper like the winds of time.
We are the Circle of Friends, made from a chain,
All of our motives are exactly the same.
Searching for friendships all over the lands,
Linking our pages is like holding hands.
We are 'the Circle of Friends', made from a chain,
A chain of cable and wire without an end.

I have an incurable obsession with the idea of going to WDW again. I NEED to go. I HAVE to go. This is not a simple wanting to go on vacation. I NEED WDW.

Hi guys, I am back. I have found a group that sounds pretty good. However a lot of people on there are pretty advanced so that is freaking me out a little. Lots of paralysis and vision loss going on over there. I intend to be part of the 50% that doesn't lose vision. I can do that right? Right?
How are you feeling today Shug? I haven't read back yet to see if you're doing better.
LB, not to turn this into a SAPfest (which I am so good at doing) I am SO thankful for each and every one of you, also. I don't know how I would have gotten through this winter without you all.
Hey, we just had the year birthday of the thread and we forgot all about it...at least I think it was around 3/7 that it started. I'll have to look!THAT is truly something to be thankful for.
ETA, nope, we didn't miss it....it's March 11th. I guess it would be weird of I wrote that event on my calendar.
