I am so embarassed. I have been emailing back and forth with my friend for the last hour, and said stuff I would never ever have said to her husband, and now I found out she's been asleep the whole time and it was him pretending to be her! I can't believe he did that!

 wow!! that is SO wrong!

sorry LB

I decided to not go to movies this afternoon, I opted to take a nap, about to have dinner. . . .but I will go see it sometime this week :)

I'm not sure if I'm feeling love or sarasm - either way, it's all good!

LB, that's AWFUL!

Well, I just heard back from my friend, and apparently somehow he didn't see the things I was embarassed about (at least he says he didn't), and he thinks the whole thing is hilarious. I don't think she understood at first how upset I was about it, but I just spelled that out for her. I asked her to try to extract a promise from him that he'll never do it again - we'll see how that goes.

The thing is, this is my dearest girlfriend in the world, we email each other multiple times every day (she lives far away from me), and if I don't know that he won't ever do this again, I'll never be able to feel safe emailing her!

OHMYGOSH! Now I find out he had her kids reading it too! I am going to die!

Oh know LB, that' terrible. I imagine someone's going to die but I don't think it'll be you. I imagine your friend will kill her DH when she finds out. I know my DH would be regreting his decision :rolleyes1

Shuggie, you have to give it time. I hope it works for you  .

There was some trust lost--not that it's her fault, of course. But she needs to show you how it won't happen again and you'll be on guard until you're sure it's her that you're talking to and not him. And showing the kids? :sad2:

I'm still waiting to hear back from her. I don't know if she stepped away from the computer, or she's off fighting with her husband, or what.

She did promise never to let it happen again, and I'm not mad at her about it, but you're right - I will always be on my guard unless I can find a way to feel secure it's her. And I don't want to have to have some stupid secret password or anything. I just want his word that he won't do it again. He's a good guy in general, and I've always liked him, but he does have a childish sense of humor sometimes. However, if he gave me his word, I'd believe him. I don't think he did it maliciously, he just thought it was funny, which really worries me, because why wouldn't he think it was even funnier to do it again sometime?

Hello, friends.

Did you know that if you cross the words Snarky and Sarcastic, you get Snarkastic? I love it!! I'm gonna use Snarkastic in my daily life now. :teeth: Just sayin'......

I do like! :thumbsup2

There is one thing that you all should know about Bonnie that I learned after meeting her yesterday(that I suspected, but didn't know for sure)....she has a twinkle in her eye that I know means trouble. We live close enough to each other I have a feeling we will be partners in crime (and I don't mean that literally ;) ). I'm just sayin' Bon, how long did it take you to get to Tysons yesterday? I know you hit traffic, but even so?

I'm scrubbed clean but now I'm off to watch AR! I'll be dising during commercials.

LB, sorry that happened to you.

Well, this situation just keeps getting better and better. I just got an email from the mom of one of my piano students. Her name is next to my friend's name on my email contact list, and apparently I accidentally sent her one of the emails that was supposed to go to my friend. It said something about how I couldn't believe he kept it going after I said that (although thank the Lord I didn't specify what "that" was).

I'm going to go eat dinner now and try not to die of embarassment.

LB    Did you explain to the mother? Oh no... Insert some DISinappropriate words here...

LB--I know exactly how you feel. I have a friend who's husband is a HUGE jerk and has done that to me before.

Now she usually will email me in a fancy font or color so I know that it is her. Her husband hasn't caught on that it is our code. But even still I don't send anything personal to her and often double and triple check things with her (like when we make plans--he has been known to "cancel" them cause he thinks it is funny)

I am so sorry. I know how betrayed you are feeling.
