I have been mouthing off way too much today. Now I'm being threatened with the naughty mat by The Tag Fairy after an exchange with Muffy on another thread.

Does anyone think they can get two weeks off in May? We could go on the Repo cruise to Barcelona and it is not overly $$$$$. Except getting back on a one-way ticket to the states. That is waaaay costly. Lemme tell you. I am trying to buy tix back to the states from Egypt. I will have to take a 13 hour flight from Cairo to JFK. And then take 2 flights after that. And go through customs there. At JFK. In NYC. Help!

Do you have ALOT of time to wait before the day you need to fly out? You could try to fly Space-A travel but its a major pain in the butt. I can send you a book with all the major space a flights and routes and every single piece of paper that is required.

Sorry, bomb, I all ready have a week planned for April, and a week planned for November, then I need to save time for my repo cruise next August. Sorry. It would have been fun!

April's trip with the dh + Nov's cruise with MIL<sailing to Europe with me.

Do you have ALOT of time to wait before the day you need to fly out? You could try to fly Space-A travel but its a major pain in the butt. I can send you a book with all the major space a flights and routes and every single piece of paper that is required.

We don't have space A here. It's really more about how much of a pain the less expensive flights are. The route I'd choose is $2000 per ticket and I'd fly KLM/NWA. This is $800 per ticket and I have to fly the 13 hour leg on EgyptAir. Then do KLM. I'd also rather go through customs in Minnesota than in JFK where I am not familiar with the airport. I am mailing most of my stuff home.

Oooh cool!!! I just got the biggest bestestest handmade wooden spoon in the whole world from the Froggys!! Huge and heavy, exactly what I wanted for making fudge, now my shoulder won't take so much of the brunt when I beat it. I also got a smaller spoon and a beveled scraper AND and antique cookie sprizter!!! I gotta make spritz cookies this weekend

Yeah. With two kids, it is not for me. AND I just now went to Orbitz to check flights and they had $800 from Frankfort. So I can go to Frankfort with DH (he has a Dr's appt), then we can go to Belgium for a few days to check it out, then I can fly out to NoDak and he can come back to...here.

I'd forgotten all about Orbitz in my quest, because they don't do Cairo flights.

Better for sure, but up until a little while ago I was running a real low-grade temp. No idea why--did have one when I was sick earlier in the week when I had my other issues. But I will be better by Saturday!
