I have a number of kids (3-9) park hopper tickets that I purchase 4, 3 & 2 years ago. I used all of the park days on them but have many plus features still available. But one of my kids will be turning 10 this year. Does Disney upgrade these tickets (to adult) or do they understand this does happen and not enforce the age rules at a water park for example?
I will probably still have plus features available for many years since we don't use them on regular basis?

If the child is now 10 or 11 or 12, just continue to use the old ticket as is. You will have no problem. Once the child becomes a teenager, you can take the ticket along with the child to Guest Relations and they will reissue you a tn adult ticket with the same unused admissions as the child one had. There is no charge for doing this.

yup, just did this last year on some old hopper passes with pluses left. no problem at all. also we used up lots of tickets with just one park admission left where our kids had aged!

have a blast! BYW there is no charge at all for this service but it's fun to see how much prices have increased and see what a bargain our old tickets were! Disney just absorbs the upgrade charge. very nice.

which is the reason we bought the biggest longest ticekt with the most features last time we went. worked out to something like $20 a day or something ridiculously cheap like that and good forever!
