Ok so to set a week we're choosing OCTOBER 28-NOVEMBER 4, 2011. Airfare through southwest and jetblue are already out for those dates and flying on a saturday is about 30 more per person, so we're going with friday. Sunday-Sunday was a possiblity too, but according to when free dining was offered last year, it stopped on the 28 so the 30 may be too far out for FD.

So these are the tentative dates. I'm much more excited about going for Halloween so I don't believe that will change. They may change by a day or two according to price of airfare and dates of free dining if it's offered, but that's the plan for now!

And I was making a ticker and as i was finishing up i got a phone call from the school. Lizzie threw up, the poor thing was embarrassed, she didn't make it out of the classroom. So she's home now of course, and i'm hoping it's just something she ate and not a bug. I gave her gingerale and peptobismol and she's been feeling ok so hopefully that lasts.

Right now airfare would cost our family around 1200 with the early bird checkin. I'm hoping those fares are still available when we're ready to book in June. So far air is looking pretty good.

Yippee!!! I'm so excited for you guys! Your dates sound fantastic! $1200 for airfare for 5 of you isn't bad. The cheapest I could have gotten for our dates was a little over $300 per person and I just couldn't justify it.

Will you be planning to do MNSSHP ON Halloween? I have read here on the DIS that tix for the party go on sale in May sometime & that Halloween night WILL sell out. Be sure to get those tix early! Judging by your post count it looks like you're probably an expert and already knew that though!

Wow, your plans have changed, Pam!! Judging by how much your family loves Halloween, I think going in October will be a lot of fun for you guys! It'll be so fun to plan out costumes, etc.

Thanks! Well, I have been on the dis for a while, but never planned on going over Halloween, so i've definitely been looking into all of that. I have heard the party on Halloween night sells out, so i'll get those tickets as soon as I can. Should be the end of May/early June the soonest, so hopefully i'll get them!

As of right now we're planning on doing the Halloween night party. Only way we won't is of course if it's sold out before I can purchase the tickets. I read about the DTD trick or treating, we're definitely going to do that. They have it on the 30th too, so we'll plan on that for that night. I'm so excited!

Yes my plans have changed! and we're all very excited about them. I have to make a ticker, and put vacation days in at work. Yippee. I'm off to change my PTR title just a little. AND Emily is already thinking about her costume!

So me and the girls were looking through all the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party info and pictures this morning. They are very excited and the park looks sooo awesome! The Haunted Mansion which is our number 1 attraction looks amazing with the colors and fog. And the Haunted mansion ghosts that are walking around look very neat. WE CANNOT WAIT. I think Emily would run to that creepy lady sitting on the bench outside of HM before she'd run to Mickey

We are going for the Halloween Party on Halloween night
We want to trick or treat in DTD on the night before
There is the Spooktacular pool party at Port Orleans Halloween afternoon, which we'd like to do before we head over to the party.
There is also a few other little things going on at POR.
We're super excited about Hallowishes, the boo to you parade, trick or treating in the MK, the dance parties, the villian show (very excited) and just seeing all the amazing decorations!

AND Emily already knows what she wants to dress up as...... You wont' be too surprised....a Haunted Mansion ballroom ghost. With the help of my very crafty friend we're going to make that costume. I don't think you can buy one anywhere?

Yea i'm hoping at the end of October it won't be so bad. I'm hoping for warm, but it shouldn't be too hot for the costume at night.

SOOOOOO plans may be changing again. Dates are still the same for now. BUT Manny was talking to Anthony tonight and he said he may want to go. Manny told him to let us know by the end of the week. I mean he has some time to decide but if i'm going to start looking at airfare at the end of May I want to be certain on how many seats i'm buying. So i'm excited he may come, although that would mean a hotel switch as we will not fit at POR . I'm leaning toward the all start music suites if he comes. Last time we went we did 2 rooms at the Movies, but with the suite we'll have a fridge and that would be nice for the mugs and left over snacks we always had. Sooooo we'll see I'm going to not worry about set plans right now as i'm not planning on booking until the end of May/early June. Unless I get a FD pin before that in which i'd book right away. So instead of set dates and if Anthony's coming or if he's not i'm going to make a list of our must dos in every park next.

I SAID OK....WELL I THOUGHT WE AGREED ON OCTOBER ( Meaning I said October and he said, yeah that's fine) So now I feel bad because he usually never has input, never really shows any excitement. Now I feel like I want to let him have a say in our dates. (I try to be nice )

It is a very tough choice. BUT instead of trying to figure it out right now, i'm just going to enjoy the non-stressful part of the planning. Like restaurants, rides, shows and just looking at pictures here. We need to see what Anthony decides, then we gotta see what the airfare's doing when they put out there fares for then (which should be May 26) And then we may change things around if free dining is offered, so seeing how we're not booking until May, i'll just let all that fall into place. We'll decide one day soon

I do hope Anthony decides to go with us! If he does i'm thinking I may want to do 2 rooms at POP instead of the All Star Music Suite? Hmmm, i'll have to have the kids pick if Anthony votes for coming. I'd like them both. I've always wanted to stay at POP, but the suites look nice? I'd be happy with either one.

Oh thank you for YOUR NICE REPLY....ANN'S NOT BEING SO NICE..... Anyway, we actually watched some videos of the obsbourne lights and the stuff going on at MVMCP. Everything looks so pretty. I would definitely look forward to that if we choose December.
