So Happy April Fool's day. Manny called me at 6:45 this morning (which is 45 minutes before me and the girls have to get up) and told me he was at dunkin donuts and he locked his keys in the car, can he use my AAA (we haven't renewed him for the year yet) he knows he can't use mine cause I cannot use my employee AAA for anyone but myself. So, he knows i'm thinkin i'm going to have to wake the girls up and bring him his spare key...... I was still asleep....didn't even realize the date...so it was an APRIL FOOLS. Very nice Manny! He called my brother and his boss on the way to work and got them with something too. He's a dork.....this is a favorite holiday of his

I did end up telling the girls, that I had bad news.....we couldn't go to Disney this year after all......and then when I said April fools, they were like, OMG!!! It's April fools day..... I did get upset faces before I told them April fools. Then after I said that I felt bad.... I don't really like April fools. I have to work tonight, so the good lord only knows what that will bring. And I mean we work with emergency situations, so i'm thinking someone's gonna bring me something and i'm not gonna know if it's real or not. Then i'm gonna yell.... then i'll probably

So I sent money into the school this morning. They're having a family movie night at the movie theater during April Vacation to see HOP. The previews for this movie look great. My girls just melt over that little bunny when they see him on commercial. Oh........he's soooo cute. Emily said "I want him" They're too funny. But I couldn't pass up the awesome deal the school got for these movie tickets, and popcorn and a drink is included!!! My girls love going to the movies. Gnomeo and Juliet was a few weeks ago, they just love it.

So to make things exciting I figured i'd post some pics of the aquarium we went to during February school vacation. My sister in law called me one night and asked if I wanted to go the next day. I said sure, call me in the morning. Well, when she called me she also asked if I wanted to stay overnigt this way we could do 2 days at the aquarium. I said OK! I ran around looking for bathing suits for the hotel pool and packed everything up. We stopped for Mcdonalds around 12 and were on our way. It's about an hour from our house. So here are some pics, the kids had a blast.

Back at the hotel the girls chose their beds and jumped around for a bit then we got in our bathing suits and went to the pool.

That night we ordered pizza and got to bed at god only knows what time. As soon as we woke up we went to eat breakfast and went back to the pool. Then checked out and went back to the aquarium.

Is that the Mystic Aquarium, Pam? If so, we LOVE it there. So fun! Your girls look like they had a blast with their cousin!

Yes it's Mystic! We had a lot of fun too. Emily LOVES Baluga whales now. We bought stuffed ones in the gift shop. Sam's favorite was the seahorses and Lizzie's favorite was the stingrays. We have a house of stuffed sea animals after that trip.

And they love going anywhere with their cousins, so this was super fun for them!

It looks like fun was had by all at the aquarium! We have an aquarium about 1.5 hours from us. I have heard great things about it, but it seems rather pricey to me. IDK...I just couldn't justify the drive and the cost of the aquarium. OH well....glad you guys had fun!

Oh Pam, you've got to take the girls to Build a Bear!!! On Saturday I got the EB bunny from HOP. He's soooo cute and I didn't know if you knew he could be built. Just an FYI.

Yes we had fun. This aquarium was definitely pricey too. I thought it was too pricey...but glad we went, the girls are still talking about it.

Oh I did not know that. OMG!!! Maybe we'll go over April vacation, the girs are always bugging me to go to build a bear, but how many bears do you need to build BUT THE BUNNY FROM HOP!!! That's exciting. Emily was just asking me again if there was a HOP bunny.

Ok, so we were talking to the kids last night and Anthony wants to go but does not want to miss school. Then as we got onto that subject, Emily said she's be worried to miss a week too. (He'll be in 9th, she'll be in 6th) SOOOO What the heck are we gonna do now. I know Emily would still go but I don't want her to be worried about it. And now knowing that Anthony WANTS to come but doesn't want to miss school would make me feel way to bad going and leaving him behind. We tossed around the idea of going this August and I think we could do it, but it would be tight to make the payoff date which would be July 1st and we definitely wouldn't be able to go up to our campground. Don't wanna stress myself out too much and Anthony was dissappointed we'd have to skip out on camping. He waits to see his buddies there every year!

So onto the good news!!! I've decided to go over our April vacation week 2012! Bummr it's a year out but I got a good bonus coming in June and plan to book with that (i know 2012 rates won't be out yet) and can get it mostly paid for. I'll be able to purchase airfare the minutes southwest realeases their fares so i'll get a good price (although flying on soutwest makes me feel uncomfortable now with all the things i keep hearing about their planes Maybe we'll take the train

Our dates will be April 15-April 22 2012! I'm excited, I feel like we finally got this figured out and can stop stressing over it. Going in december was making me nervous because...what if we got snow and our flights were delayed or cancelled...which happens all the time here. Taking the kids out of school was stressing me a little. Not so much for Liz and Sam but I knew Emily didn't really want to do that either. I was also worried about getting crappy december weather like Florida got this past year. I'm pretty worry free about April. I feel......HAPPY......... I'm a dork, i know! I just looked up Easter for 2012 and it's April 8th, which is perfect,it's 2 weeks before we go, so it wont' be a nightmare with the crowds. Hopefully we'll have nice warm weather too!

SOOOOOOO I'm gonna keep my PTR going cause i'm sooooooo excited to be going back and I need to hang out here and talk to all my dis friends... my friends here can only take so much talk of Disney! You all know how that goes.

SECOND: Can I book a whole package now at 2011 rates and they'll adjust when the new prices are released? Or do I have to just book a room only and make it a package in August?


We'll definitely be at POP Century with Anthony. Need more space than POR has for us. We'll request 2 connecting rooms in the 60s building facing the Hippy Dippy pool! AND we'll be able to scope out the Art of Animation progress.

Yeah no. NO cancelling this trip. We were really all set to go this year, but I think that's why we could never decide on a date.There were too many. "what if this happens" or "I don't know if thats a good week" So we'll all be happy about this week. Not really feeling the 12 month wait, but i'll live. Notice how i said 12months and not 1 year. It sounds better.

Well, if it's to POP with Free Dining and a shorter length stay, it would be a possibility.....I could have a free fridge due to my insulin needing to be cold (medical needs) and IF we have extra money taken out in taxes so that our refund would cover the trip.....OH thanks alot PAM!!! Now you have me thinking about it hard!!! I hope you are happy!!

Why is it I have a child who doesn't care about missing school that much? She just feels that she can make up the work, and she does with no problems. She's an A/B student, too. I guess it just really doesn't bother her.

Anyways, I am happy that you still are planning a trip, Pam!! YOU DO DESERVE TO GO TO DISNEY!!!!

Thanks, I think we deserve to go to Disney too. So yup those are our dates and hey, if you have some extra cash you don't know what to do with, come on down... Anthony is and has always been an A student, I have no doubt he'd be fine catching back up, it just makes him nervous i guess. Emily's the same way with the nerves. She is not a straight A student though. She's a B student but it doesn't come as easy for her as it does for Anthony. So she worries about catching up. Don't want anyone stressed out on our trips....not even the kiddies. . I've actually been excited about our new dates all day. Now we can definitely spend the week at our campground this summer too.

Pam, I'm so happy the dates are set for you now! I don't really know about booking a package and switching things over, hmmm. I'd call Disney and ask to get a definite answer. I've never been in April, but I think you guys will definitely get nice weather (not too hot, definitely pool weather!!). Now you just have more time to plan
