Can anyone be kind enough to guve me a plot summary for the two shows in Disney Wonder: Disney Dream and Hercules, so I can give my kids some ideas what they are about?

Thanks in advance!

Hercules is just as it seems--it follows the Disney movie Hercules with the same characters and plot.

Disney Dreams is a story about a little girl (Ann Marie) that needs to learn how to believe in her Dreams. She has a certain amount of time to do this (by morning basically.) It's a really cute story and helps us all remember to believe in magic.

I would really appreciate, wholeheartedly, if more details can be given.

My daughter is 4 and she does not speak much English.

It would therefore be great if I could tell her the story in advance so that she can understand and enjoy the show more.

Thanks.

Hercules the Muse-ical:

Just like the movie. Be sure the kids have seen Hercules before you go. A few twists and music numbers. For example, one of the muses is missing and is replaced by a boy posing as a moose. He quickly loses the moose costume and dons dresses and a wig like the muses. Watch for Pain, Panic, and Hades who are VERY funny and make lots of jokes.

Disney Dreams:

A little girl makes a wish on a star. She wishes that she could fly. As she falls asleep, the Blue Fairy visits and gives her the secret for being able to fly. The "secret" includes learning something about princesses, kings, etc, etc. Peter Pan shows up and she and Peter try to figure out what the Blue Fairy means. As they learn about kings, etc., musical numbers from Disney movies take place. For example, there is a great musical number "I just cannot wait to be king" from the Lion King. Characters, puppets, and movie footage are all parts of the musical numbers. My favorite is the "Under the Sea" song where the stage opens up and huge fish puppets come out and perform the song. There is an extra surprise at the end where it looks like Tinker Bell sprinkles pixie dust over the entire ship.

Of course -- The Golden Mickey's!

Okay -- a sort of awards show (best villian, best......). Start off with a gal who is waiting for the MC who doesn't show up and she has to be the MC. She gets some "pep" talks from celebrities such as Roy Disney and Angela Landsbury (voice of Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast). Then the "awards" are given and musical numbers are performed from the "winners". The special effects are fabulous and there is, again, the mix of movie footage, puppets, characters, and music. At the end, the girl MC gets dressed up and does a musical number. SHe did it!

Here's a list of Disney movies I would be sure my kids have seen before seeing the shows on the WOnder:

Hercules
Lion King
Snow White
101 Dalmations
Toy Story 2
Sleeping Beauty
Little Mermaid
Lion King
Tarzan
Mulan
Lilo and Stitch
Hunchback of Notre Dame

Did I forget any??

Don't forget PETER PAN--watch that too.

LITTLE TWIN STARS: Let your daughter watch classic Disney Movies and don't sweat it about the shows. She will enjoy it at her own level. She does not have to GET it all at once. I have seen DISNEY DREAMS 3 times, I am 54 and each time I see something I never saw before or it hits me in a different way based on my mood or life or something. Your daughter will have a wonderful time, I am sure.

I bet there will be cast members who speak her original language and you can find them if you want to.
