It has been a few years since I was at Pleasure Island. I think I read somewhere that you do not pay to go in like you used to But pay to enter what ever clubs you want to go to. Is this true??

You are correct, PI has an "open gate" policy which means you can get into the area without paying admission. You have to pay only if you want to enter any one of the night clubs, but once you've paid for one you get a wristband that will allow you to go into the others as well. There are various types of admission prices - at the gate, it is around $18 (tax included). You can't pay a lower price just to go into one club. You can also use one of the "pluses" on a PHP pass for admission. If you have a UHP or a Premium AP, unlimited admission is included. They also have other types.
