Jill, that's where we normally go, but they were closed on Sunday (Metrowest Veterinary Associates), we took him to the Natick Animal Clinic and they had no idea what was wrong with him. He went to MVA on Monday night and they thought they felt the obstruction and sent us to Tufts. He's been there since Monday night.
Update - We went and saw him again last night. He was happy to see us, had a bit more energy, but spent most of the visit laying down and nodding off. It seemed like he had to keep checking to make sure we were still there
They ran another blood panel this morning, and if his wbc is up closer to normal, they will send him home this evening. He's not eating (a lot of cats just don't at the vet), and is very nervous. They have started syringe feeding him, because his liver will be compromised if he doesn't start getting nutrition. If he comes home and starts eating, we're on the right road. They will call me once the blood work comes back.
So, keep sending Pixie Dust, that's some powerful stuff!
