Myself, DH, DD 3, and DS 1 will be traveling to WDW Jan 29-Feb 2 on DXDP Here's what we got with some questions thrown in....

Sat 1/29 flight arrives 11:30 ( has been pushed back two hours since we bought tickets) We had a 1:00 ADR at Planet Hollywood, but canceled because we figured we wouldn't make it. Not sure if we should just do QS when we get there. Or still reserve a TS meal at DTD and push back our Ohana reservation??

6:30 PM Ohana

Sun 1/30 MK
CRT 8:10 am
???
???

Need advice on our meal for the rest of the day. Thinking of doing QS for lite lunch, then CP for dinner.

Mon 1/31 Rest Day
10:00 Park Fare Breakfast
5:00 Hoop Dee Doo Review

Tuesday 2/1 AK ( also my Birthday!!)
8:35 Tusker House Breakfast
???
7:00 Raglan Road

Need advice on QS lunch here, or should we do Yak and Yeti TS? What time?

Wed 2/2 flight leaves at 4:00 pm
8:40 Chef Mickeys

I keep hearing mixed feelings about CM. Some love others hate it. I wanted to do a character meal this day just to do something special before we left. But is this many of the same characters at Tusker house? We have also done breakfast at Ohana in the past and loved it, so I am considering switching, but we are already doing dinner there... Thoughts?

So I think that is all the questions I have. Please give me your advice and comments!! Thanks for the help!! :)

I would definitely do Crystal Palace on my MK day. That is my favorite place to eat at WDW.
So I would go there.

I also would keep the Chef Mickey ressie. We love it there. My advice about food reviews...take them ALL (even mine) with a grain of salt. People love/hate every place at WDW, so base your choices on whether you like the menu and if it fits in your plans well.

If I would've listened to all the bad reviews I would've missed some wonderful dining and great food at WDW. So go with what you want.

On arrival day I would grab a light CS lunch and keep Ohana where it is. If you are at DTD, Earl of Sandwich is good as well as Wolfgang Puck's Express in the market place. (right by earl's)
Wonderful food there, it is CS but is more like TS. Very very good.

Enjoy your trip and have a good bday!

Hmm.....even on DxDP you only get 3 meal credits per night per person. You are staying 4 nights so you have 12 credits. You already have 2 days with a 2-credit meal (CRT & HDDR). If you want 3 full meals each day in addition to those, you'll have to pay some OOP.

Sat - keep 'Ohana. Flight arriving at 11:30 still means it may be a few more hours until you are settled in to your room at your resort. That's likely to be too late to even bother with CS anywhere and still be able to manage a big 'Ohana dinner. I'd do no more than grab a snack or ---horrors--- a quick bite at the airport before you go get in line for the ME bus. Total 1 credit.

Sun - CRT and I agree CP for your MK day. Go ahead and figure on a CS lunch just wherever/whenever convenient, and make a later CP ADR for dinner. Total 4 credits.

Mon - As is, 3 credits. A snack should do for lunch today; late breakfast & early dinner.

Tues - adding lunch (I'd recommend Yak & Yeti; DxDP is meal credits not TS v CS so you could do either Yak option depending on which food appeals to you more and whether you want to take the time away from park touring) brings the total to 3 credits.

Wed - 1 more credit

There's your 12 credits. So whatever you have on your arrival day before dinner needs to be OOP anyhow.
